Exciting Update Surfaces Regarding Ghost Of Tsushima’s Successor

2025 can't come any sooner.

Story Highlights

  • Ghost of Tsushima, the 2020 hit action-adventure by Sucker Punch, is about to get a sequel next year.
  • Ahead of its release, Ghost of Yotei can now be wishlisted on the PlayStation Store
  • That way, you will receive a notification when pre-orders for the game go live.

I’m all for Sucker Punch Productions—the Washington-based developer has made a sizable number of top-tier games over the years, so when the matter came down to a Ghost of Tsushima sequel, it’s easy to be over the moon in anticipation of it. If you’re like me and counting the days until 2025 is finally here, there’s good news for you ahead.

Ghost of Yotei, on its official PlayStation Store, can now be wishlisted by any who’s signed into their account on the platform. This way, you’ll receive curated notifications about any forthcoming updates pertaining to the title, whether its release date gets announced or it becomes available for pre-order.

In the future, having the title on your wishlist will also alert you of any deals or discounts applied to Ghost of Yotei, but of course, this is pretty far out from where we’re standing right now. Oh, and if you’ve already reached your limit for wishlisting games, make sure that you clear some room for this one. You don’t want to sleep on a Ghost game.

With the added expanse of the PlayStation 5 Pro, Sony’s newest console which comes out in November, Ghost of Yotei is going to look even better than Ghost of Tsushima, and that game is a visual masterpiece. Some of the major highlights of the forthcoming PlayStation system is that it’ll come with PSSR, which is an in-house AI-upscaling system, faster memory, and even better gameplay rendering.

This is also Sucker Punch’s first game built from the ground up for PlayStation 5, and we’re excited to build on the visual foundation we established in Ghost of Tsushima by making the world feel even more real,” said Sucker Punch.
