Bandai Namco’s Summer Sale Has Me Emptying My Wallet For Good Reason

This just in right in the middle of Steam's own Summer Sale.

Story Highlights

  • As the gaming world finds itself diving deep into Steam’s Summer Sale, Bandai Namco joins in as well.
  • The industry giant has put some of its best games on impressive discounts right now, up to 90% off.
  • Titles such as Tekken 8, Elden Ring, and Armored Core 6 — all AAA — have had their prices cut.

Steam’s Summer Sale has been fantastic up until now, discounting hundreds of awesome games by cool margins of 50%, 60%, and sometimes, even more, but here’s one thing that’s upping the ante even more: Bandai Namco has entered the party. The publisher of many iconic video games, especially some of its recent ones, has discounted an array of titles on Valve’s storefront right now.

In case your wallet has still some room left for exploration even after the base Steam Summer Sale, read right on ahead and know what’s cooking hard at the moment. We’re mostly talking about the big dogs here, including the likes of Tekken 8, Elden Ring, and more. I’m sure you’re going to like if not love the forthcoming entries, so let’s get into it straight away.

Here Are Some Attractive Discounts On Big Bandai Namco Games

Make sure to post a comment down below if you spot other noteworthy listings by Bandai Namco on Steam.

1. Armored Core 6: Fires Of Rubicon

Armored Core 6
Armored Core 6 Is at the Zenith of the Mecha Shooter Genre

You, as a game, do not just become the best-selling iteration in your entire series, and with Armored Core 6, it’s a different story altogether. Outside of the extended Souls titles, including Sekiro and Bloodborne, this is one of FromSoftware’s most novel works, with near-perfection oozing out of every moment spent playing the shooter.

eXputer rated Fires of Rubicon 4.5/5.0 in its review, with author Huzaifah Durrani remarking,

Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon effectively revives a franchise many of us thought dead, and it does so with incredible spectacle at that.”

  • Get it on Steam.

2. Elden Ring

Elden Ring
Elden Ring Needs No Introduction to Today’s Gaming World

You really don’t want me to write a lengthy paragraph recommending this one, do you? The game, the myth, the legend, FormSoftware’s magnum opus currently 30% off on Valve’s storefront, letting you purchase Elden Ring and subsequently torment yourself for a cent short of $42. This isn’t a huge saver, but I’ll still take it, considering the quality on display here.

Once you’ve become the Elden Lord, go the next step in your journey with Shadow of the Erdtree, Elden Ring’s first-and-final DLC expansion that’s on the same level as the base game and then some. eXputer rated Elden Ring 5/5 in its review, praising its exceptional open-world design, fantastic combat and weapon variety, and enthralling boss fights.

3. Tekken 8

Tekken 8
Tekken 8 Is the Best Tekken Has Ever Been

No other fighting game comes close to the icon that Tekken is as a franchise, and with the latest rendition in the franchise coming in hard, there’s really no reason you shouldn’t be getting this one. Tekken 8 has sold millions of copies already, featuring fan-favorite characters, better-than-ever visuals, and a new “Heat” mechanic that seemingly changes the fate of your battle outcomes.

eXputer author Roaim Chohan calls the game a “powerhouse in the fighting game world” in his review of Tekken 8, admiring its extensive single-player content, and more.

4. Code Vein

Code Vein
Code Vein Is Not Your Average RPG

Bandai Namco’s Code Vein is a class apart, boasting impressive visuals, a polished combat system, and a balanced difficulty setting that’s neither too easy nor too difficult. You may not fall in love with its overall plot, which is kind of finicky, but there’s not going to be a complaint about the character customization and player freedom when it comes to it.

The game’s rolled over more than 3 million units as of March 2023, but if you haven’t had the opportunity to get one yourself, $4.49 is the price right now, which is more than a colossal 85% off.

5. Katamari Damacy Reroll

Katamari Damacy Reroll
Katamari Damacy Reroll Is the Definition of Fun

Katamari Damacy is an iconic classic, whose original release dates back to the era of the PlayStation 2. The “Reroll” edition is a re-release of the olden legend, remastered for a newer audience in 2018. It’s a roll-’em-up style title and is one of the most creative titles you’ll be picking up.

Let me give you a hint: If you ever feel like turning your brain off and just killing time mindlessly in a similar-minded game, Katamari Damacy Reroll is what you should be looking at.

6. Sand Land

Sand Land
Sand Land

Lastly, we’ve got Sand Land in the mix, coming straight from the legendary creator of the Dragon Ball franchise, the late Akira Toriyama. The game’s a breath of fresh air as compared to the rest of the arena fighters we usually get to play in the video game adaptation of animes, thanks to how Sand Land hits the nail on the head with the vehicular combat, its mesmerizing OST, and great art direction

eXputer reviewed Sand Land and rated it 3.5/5.0. The reviewer Hanzala Iftikhar said the following about the action RPG:

Despite uneven storytelling and design flaws, Toriyama’s magical Sand Land is plenty amusing, a Shounen adventure not reliant on complexity.”
