- Some of the best discounted deals I’ve spotted so far pertain to Celeste, Baldur’s Gate 3, and more.
While I was still recovering from the last Steam sale that put a real dent in my wallet, I guess it’s time to go broke again, no thanks to the latest Steam Summer Sale that discounts titles up to 95%. There are some truly tasty deals in there from what I was able to spot so far, so you should waste no time in filling up that backlog that you know you’re never going to play.
After all, a wise man once said: Buying a game and playing a game are two different hobbies.
The promotion lasts until July 11, so I say you’ve got a fair amount of time to make decisions. I, however, will be helping you out with that, as the curated recommendations laid out ahead should nudge you in the right direction.
Top Steam Games On Sale That You Should Check Out
Make sure to post a comment down below if you spot more deals worth checking out.
1. Batman: Arkham Knight
Belonging to the Steam Summer Sale’s “Deep Discounts” segment, this thrill of a game is coming for 2 dollars right now. No joke. Batman: Arkham Knight is one of the best superhero games ever made, being a part of what is arguably the best superhero video game franchise of all time, giving Marvel’s Spider-Man a good run for its money.
The Premium Edition of the title, which is on sale for about $5.99 at the moment, comes with the Arkham Knight Season Pass, granting you access to “new story missions, more supervillains invading Gotham City, new legendary Batmobiles, advanced challenge maps, alternative character skins, and new drivable race tracks.”

2. Disco Elysium – The Final Cut
Just so you know, The Final Cut version of Disco Elysium comes with English voiceovers for the game’s various characters, along with more content. The title at hand is one of the most perfectly written, well-executed games in the industry right now, with the overall quality far surpassing its counterparts on a regular basis. It’s a top-rated venture on Steam — and rightfully so — so at $1.29, you should not be thinking twice about this RPG.

3. Celeste
I’ll be honest with you here: Celeste is an exceptional game on multiple levels, but it will give you a mental breakdown. It’s an incredibly difficult title that’s going to test your skill more times than you’d like to admit, but along those lines, you won’t be able to help but appreciate the quality of the masterpiece at hand.
I mean, coming at a price that’s not even a whole 1 dollar, you can’t go wrong sparing some cents on Celeste. You can very well end up loving it, as thousands of others have.

4. Titanfall 2: Ultimate Edition
Call it bias, but every time this one goes on sale, I cannot resist the urge to recommend it and have everyone play this legendary FPS. Titanfall 2 came out all the way back in 2016, so for a multiplayer-focused title, 8 years is a long time from now, right? Absolutely not in the case of Titanfall 2. The title is extremely relevant in the sense of quality even to this day, featuring a campaign that’s going to ground itself deep in your memory as you sit down to pace it.
Featuring an amazing story, tight gunplay, and impressive visuals, all of us are longing for a modern-day resurgence of this franchise. Make it happen, Respawn.

5. Baldur’s Gate 3
2023’s Game of the Year winner, Baldur’s Gate 3 is pulling no punches, so why should you? The title’s 20% off pricing is a historical low, and at $24, the turn-based RPG is an easy recommendation. It’s hit over half a million reviews on Steam, and sold more than 15 million units to date, signaling immense success for independent developer Larian Studios.
eXputer rated Baldur’s Gate 3 a solid 5/5 in its review, with author Huzaifah Durrani remarking,
Baldur’s Gate 3 is one of the greatest RPGs of all time, and a testament to the talent of developer Larian Studios.”

6. Nier: Automata
A personal favorite from 2017, PlatinumGames worked up a wonder in the name of Nier: Automata. This action-adventure is not your average RPG. It’s a beautiful tale set in a desolate world full of characters that inspire intrigue and charm. You’re getting it for around $6 on Steam’s Summer Sale right now, which, in my humble opinion, is dirt cheap for a title of this stature.
eXputer reviewed Nier: Automata and rated it 4.5/5.0, praising its narrative, fantastic combat, and amazing OST. Can’t go wrong with it, period.
