For each weapon, we are going to talk about how it performs in combat, what its perk is, and how you can acquire it. Jotnar Cleaver

The Jotnar Cleaver, featured in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s Dawn of Ragnarok DLC, is a standout two-handed axe. It excels in crowd control and tackling tough enemies, thanks to its synergy with abilities that depend on Adrenaline (the yellow bar above health). Its unique perk offers a 50% chance to replenish Adrenaline on a critical hit, with a 15-second cooldown, providing a reliable Adrenaline boost during fights.

To wield the Jotnar Cleaver effectively, pair it with abilities like Riposte to defeat tough foes efficiently.

Obtaining the Jotnar Cleaver is challenging. Collect the Jotun Mantle armor set, visit the marked portal location, defeat three bosses, and you’ll receive the Jotnar Cleaver as a reward. Equip the full Jotun Mantle armor set before entering the portal.

All-Father’s Guard

To acquire the Fiery Warsong, defeat the formidable Simara’s Chosen, three powerful enemies scattered across the map. Collect the weapon pieces dropped by these enemies and craft the weapon at any blacksmith.

Thorgrim’s Dying Breath

In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok, facing new formidable enemies demands strategic combat approaches. Thorgrim’s Dying Breath, a heavy weapon, stands out with its distinctive perk. Delivering a Heavy Critical Hit with this weapon knocks down enemies, enabling a powerful follow-up Stomp attack. This dual move proves effective against both strong adversaries and weaker foes.

While it isn’t something that can be extremely useful against a group of enemies like the Fiery Warson, it’s an ideal weapon when facing a tough opponent, such as one of Sinmara’s Chosen. You can also pair this weapon with some Armor sets that grant benefits with critical strikes so that you get the most out of it. 

To obtain Thorgrim’s Dying Breath in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, head to Gaseous, located at the center of Oswaldo. Dive underwater to access two buildings. In the west building, retrieve the key, then unlock a chest in the east building. Dive into the basement through a hole, and underwater, locate the chest containing the weapon.

Fenrir’s Incisor

In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, daggers provide a fast-paced and aggressive combat style. Fenrir’s Incisor, introduced in the Dawn of Ragnarok DLC, emerges as a top-tier weapon.

Its distinctive perk significantly lowers stamina usage for special attacks, reducing overall stamina costs by 20%. This feature caters to players fond of frequent special moves, enabling sustained, potent strikes and swift enemy takedowns.

This will also work pretty well against the Forst enemies that you’ll encounter in Dawn of Ragnarok as they are weak against fire. If you have a speed-based attack build, then you should definitely add the Fenrir’s Incisor to your arsenal.

To acquire Fenrir’s Incisor in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok, journey to Gimsteinhus, a frost-covered village in the southwest corner of the map.

Upon arrival, locate the large stone building and claim the Power of Jotunheim from its front. Adjacent to this building, find a Shrine. Afterward, utilize the Power of Jotunheim to reach a teleport target nearby. Proceed inside the building and employ the Power of Jotunheim once more on another teleport target.

Descend to the lower level by breaking the ice floor. Proceed to breach an ice wall, granting access to the chest containing Fenrir’s Incisor.

Aesir Eye

The Aesir Eye is a formidable Hunter Bow in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, ideal for players seeking to maintain a steady Adrenaline supply. Its ranged capabilities enable efficient target elimination from a distance, eliminating the need for close-quarters combat.

The standout feature of the Aesir Eye is its perk, which grants Adrenaline upon executing a fully charged headshot, whether with regular shots or abilities. This ensures a steady supply of Adrenaline, allowing for sustained powerful attacks on enemies without depletion concerns.

For instance, you can use the new Knockback Arrow with the Aesir Eye, which shoots a lightning arrow that knocks the enemy onto the ground.
