The Eleonora’s Poleblade is an excellent arcane weapon in Elden Ring that scales well with Dexterity and Arcane. Besides Eleonora’s Poleblade, Twinned Knight Swords is another best weapon in Elden Ring under twinblade category that most twinblade users or Dexterity build players would love to have. The weapon does not have crazy high character attributes requirements to wield. All you need is 16 Strength and 18 Dexterity in order to wield Twinned Knight Swords efficiently in Elden Ring.

That being said, in the base state, this twinblade has D-scaling in Strength and E-scaling in Dexterity, which entails that this is more of a strength weapon than dex. However, most twinblade are actually hybrids between these two character attributes.

The best part about Twinned Knight Swords is the bleed proc. This twinblade has by far one of the best bleed build up in Elden Ring. Infusing Twinned Knight Swords with a blood Ashes of War and upgrading it to max will give you a 100 Bleed build up the chance, which is insane considering how fast the twin blades attack animation is that other weapons of this size and damage. While Poison works great in PvP as compared to PvE, you can still apply the status effect on most field bosses and optional bosses in the game, especially if they’re tarnished. Acquiring the Twinned Knight Swords is not an exhausting farming process; instead, all you need is to visit a place and collect the weapon from a corpse. All you need to do is visit the East Windmill Pasture in Altus Plateau, and you will come across a pile of burning corpses.

Ruins Greatsword

That being said, The Ruins Greatsword has B-scaling in the Strength department and E-scaling in the Intelligence department, making it another high character attributes demanding weapon in Elden Ring. Acquiring the Ruins Greatsword requires you to beat to bosses back to back, and you will be facing both of these both together instead of killing one first and the second one spawning after. That being said, you will have to beat Misbegotten Warrior and Crucible Knight duo once you step into the festival beginning area of Redmane Castle. You must keep one thing in mind that in order to acquire one of the best greatsword weapons in Elden Ring, the Ruins Greatsword, you will need to defeat first the Starscourage Radahn first. Otherwise, the Redmane Castle Plaza location will not trigger the Misbegotten Warrior and Crucible Knight duo boss fight, and you will only see the warriors getting ready to fight Radahn.

However, even if you’ve defeated Radahn, Witch Hunter Jerren still remains in the area, and you must interact with this NPC and exhaust all dialogues, after which he moves from this location to Weeping Peninsula. Prelate’s Inferno Crozier

Prelate’s Inferno Crozier also comes with a unique Ashes of War from the get go. The Prelate’s Charge, unique ashes of war for this weapon, allows the wielder to slam the weapon into the ground and make a short flame pool which can be further charged towards a target. If you press and hold L2/LT then your character will charge in with Prelate’s Inferno Crozier weapon while leaving a flame trail in its wake.

Regardless of how you use Prelate’s Inferno Crozier, either one hand or power stanced with another colossal weapon, if you are running with strength build, then you will get tremendous value by using this weapon in Elden Ring. This colossal weapon is a mid to late-game weapon which requires at least 45 Strength level to wield properly and has STR C-scaling when you obtain it. Upgrading Prelate’s Inferno Crozier will require you to be using the Smithing Stones instead of Somber ones, and if you’re in the end game, then you must have the required bell bearings to purchase the smithing stones from Twin Maiden Husks.

Other than that, the Prelate’s Inferno Crozier can be acquired after killing a unique enemy type that can be found in Fort Laiedd in Mt. Gelmir.

Besides Fort Laiedd, you can get Prelate’s Inferno Crozier weapon from another location as well. The Whiteridge Road grace will have a Fire Prelate enemy nearby to it, and if you defeat this enemy, this colossal weapon will drop for you.

If you fancy wielding some of the colossal weapons in Elden Ring, then you should not sleep on Prelate’s Inferno Crozier weapon. Also, you can get this during mid game when you reach Mt. Gelmir, which also gives you enough room to level up your Strength character attribute to at least level 45 in order to wield this weapon efficiently.

Moreover, if you’re running with pure strength build, then acquiring Prelate’s Inferno Crozier weapon from Fort Laiedd to the end game, this can easily be your go-to weapon to smash enemies and bosses. Also, an excellent weapon to break enemies or bosses’ posture while doing jump attacks.

Blasphemous Blade

Blasphemous Blade in Elden Ring gained popularity after the Vampire build, which basically steals enemies’ health and replenishes your lost health. That being said, in order to effectively wield and get the most out of Blasphemous Blade in Elden Ring, the player will need to have at least 21 Faith, 22 Strength, and 15 Dexterity. Although the Faith and Strength character attributes are decent enough, they are essential because the weapon deals physical and fire damage. Also, the Blasphemous Blade being a greatsword, will certainly require at least 20 strength as opposed to 15 or below of rapiers and normal-sized swords.

At the base condition, Blasphemous Blade deals 121 physical damage and 78 fire damage with 100 critical hit damage. More, this boss weapon greatsword has D-scaling Faith, Strength, and Dexterity. However, if you upgrade Blasphemous Blade to the maximum level, you will get B-Strength scaling and C-scaling on Faith and Dexterity.

Besides stealing HP on enemies, another aspect that makes Blasphemous Blade one of the best weapons in Elden Ring is that it has got a unique Ashes of War. Players cannot change the default Ashes of War that come with the Blasphemous Blade, and this greatsword also cannot be infused or enchanted by various incantations.

Regardless of it, the Ashes of War, Taker’s Flames, is excellent damage dealing weapon art that sends a forward blasting flame, where each hit steals health from enemies. Besides healing at the hit, Blasphemous Blade also heals the wielder on every enemy kill.

The fire aspect of this greatsword only increases as your level up Faith character attribute, which means that the fire scales with your character’s faith scaling. On the other hand, the physical damage increases as you invest more runes into leveling the strength. Since this is a boss weapon in Elden Ring, you will need Somber Smithing Stones to upgrade the Blasphemous Blade. When you max the upgrade at +10, this greatsword gets B-scaling in Faith and C-scaling in Strength.

In order to acquire, Blasphemous Blade, one of the best boss weapons in Elden Ring, players will need to defeat Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy. He is located at the far end of Mt. Gelmir or near Volcano Manor.

To get the Blasphemous Blade, all you need to do is defeat the boss, and you will be rewarded with Remembrance of the Blasphemous that you can trade with Enia at Roundtable to get Blasphemous Blade. You can, however, trade the boss’s remembrance for Rykard’s Rancor spell as well; it all depends on what your playstyle suits the best.

Dark Moon Greatsword

The Dark Moon Greatsword is a recurring weapon that you can see in previous Dark Souls games and even in Bloodborne. In previous games, this intelligence-based magic greatsword has also been named as Moonlight Greatsword, but in Elden Ring, the weapon is renamed to Dark Moon Greatsword.

Regardless of the iteration in name, one quick look at the Dark Moon Greatsword, and you can clearly tell that the likeness between this and Moonlight Greatsword is uncanny. Also, the Ashes of War on this greatsword is named as Moonlight Greatsword.

The Dark Moon Greatsword is an intelligence build or magic build centric greatsword weapon in the game, and if you had to pick the best weapon in Elden Ring under this category, then there is no parallel to it. This unique greatsword cannot be infused with an incantation, nor can it be buffed with magic. Also, players cannot replace the unique Ashes of War on the Dark Moon Greatsword weapon in Elden Ring.

Starting off with the character attributes, in order to properly wield this weapon, you will need at least 38 Intelligence, 16 Strength, and 11 Dexterity. Such a high requirement entails that the Dark Moon Greatsword has C-scaling in intelligence and D-scaling in Strength and Dexterity in its base state.

However, if you upgrade this weapon via visiting the Blacksmith, then you’d need Somber Smithing Stones, and at +10 level, the Dark Moon Greatsword gets B-scaling in Intelligence and D-scaling in Strength and Dexterity.

The Ashes of War of the Dark Moon Greatsword is called Moonlight Greatsword, which basically bathes the weapon in the light of the dark moon. Doing so, infusing weapons with Cold and attacking enemies builds up the frostbite damage status effect.

Also, the overall magic attack power of the player is also increased significantly after using the weapon art of the Dark Moon Greatsword. If you use the charged attacks of this greatsword, they fire blasts of moonlight sorcery, dealing high magic damage to a target.

The overall status effect of weapon art stays for one minute after triggering the weapon art, and it consumes 40 FP, which is technically not that high. Of course, wielding the Dark Moon Greatsword will also require you to spend some points on endurance and Strength as well because you will not be able to carry this greatsword along with staff and decent armor set without leveling up Strength to at least 20-25 level range or above. That being said, players who invest in a Strength and Intelligence Hybrid build playstyle in Elden Ring will make the most out of this weapon in the game as opposed to pure magic build players.

Even though the Dark Moon Greatsword is considered one of the best intelligence category weapons in Elden Ring, acquiring this is equally frustrating as you’d be tasked to complete Ranni the Witch’s questline. Also, this questline is arguably one of the longest quests in Elden Ring that will have you talk with Blaidd, Iji, and tons of other NPCs. If you complete the quest, you’d need to give Ranni the Dark Moon Ring when she is found below the Cathedral of Manus Celes.

Sacred Relic Sword

The Sacred Relic Sword is a great sword that is a very late-game boss weapon in Elden Ring. If you had to pick a greatsword that scales with Dexterity and Faith character attributes, the Sacred Relic Sword is the best weapon in Elden Ring under the said category.

The greatsword has 15 Strength, 22 Faith, and 24 Dexterity requirement in order to wield the weapon properly. Considering the fact that Sacred Relic Sword is an end game, meeting these requirements would be pretty easy if you’re running a quality build or have decent points invested across all major character attributes.

When you acquire the Sacred Relic Sword, the weapon comes with E-strength scaling, D-Dexterity, and Faith scaling. Even though the weapon has a higher dexterity requirement, but if you level up your Faith scaling, you will do more damage from the weapon’s Ashes of War however, since this is a boss weapon so you will need the Somber Smithing Stones to upgrade it from Blacksmith.

Once you max out the weapon at +10 you, the overall scaling improves, and the Sacred Relic Sword gets D-scaling on Strength, C-scaling on Faith, and B-scaling on Dexterity, indicating that it is a decent dex weapon in Elden Ring.

The Ashes of War is the unique weapon art of the Sacred Relic Sword, and the sword itself cannot be rolled for another weapon art, nor can it be enchanted by magic or various incantations. The Wave of Gold, unique Ashes of War for the Sacred Relic Sword, basically infuses the sword with a forgotten golden glory spell and then fires it in front of a wide-sweeping attack that spreads for quite some distance.

The FP Cost is 50, which is decent considering the fact it deals with a very long and wide range of AoE attacks. The overall damage of Ashes of War scales with the Faith scaling and not with Dexterity or Strength.

Other than that, players can buff the damage of Ashes of War by consuming Holy Shrouding Cracked Tear, increasing the overall damage by 20% for three minutes. The damage can even be taken up a notch by equipping the Sacred Scorpion Charm and using the Golden Vow incantation of weapon art.

Acquiring this weapon is only possible after defeating the Elden Beast, the last boss in Elden Ring. After slaying the boss, go to Enia at the Roundtable Hold and trade the Elden Remembrance for the Sacred Relic Sword or Marika’s Hammer. That is the only we to get this amazing Faith build based weapon in Elden Ring.

Other than that, the Sacred Relic Sword gained popularity among Elden Ring players because of the insane amount of rune farming players who made it possible after using this weapon. All you need to do is acquire the weapon from Enia, reach Palace Approach Ledge-Road site of grace and use the Sacred Relic Sword’s Ashes of War on Albinaurics to one-shot them. Ghiza’s Wheel

Upgrading the Ghiza’s Wheel will require you to have Somber Smithing Stones, and the weapon is upgraded max to +10 level from Blacksmith. Even though in the base stat, this weapon comes with a D-scaling Dexterity and Strength, if you upgrade it to the maximum level, the scaling on both improves to C-scaling, making the overall damage double than its base one.

The Ghiza’s Wheel is an excellent melee weapon and can be utilized best if you have a decent FP bar. Ideally, you should at least have a 25-30 Mind character attribute level because the best part of using the Ghiza’s Wheel is holding the weapon art button and letting the wheel spin. Players can walk while making spinning the wheel, dealing tons of damage to enemies that approach them.

In order to acquire the Ghiza’s Wheel, players will need to reach the Volcano Manor location in Elden Ring. Once you’re there, you will come across the dining hall on the upper floor of the Volcano Manor.

Reaching at the far end of this hall will trigger the red phantom invader sequence, and Inquisitor Ghiza will try to kill you while wielding this colossal weapon. If you manage to kill this invader, you will be given the Ghiza’s Wheel as a reward weapon.

Defeating the invader should not be a problem if you are running with a ranged build because Inquisitor Ghiza only deals melee damage which causes heavy blood loss. So, if you are running with intelligence build or have a few lightning incantations with you, then take this invader out via dealing ranged damage. Maliketh’s Black Blade

The Maliketh’s Black Blade is an excellent Strength and Faith hybrid build weapon that scales mainly with Strength and Faith character attributes. If you are running with a Paladin build in Elden Ring, then using this best weapon in Elden Ring during mid to late game would probably be a great idea for your hybrid build.

After obtaining the weapon, it comes with D-Strength and Faith scaling and E-dexterity scaling. Since Maliketh’s Black Blade is a boss weapon, so you will need the Somber Smithing Stones to upgrade the weapon from Blacksmith.

Taking this weapon’s level up to +10 will give you B-scaling on Strength and Faith and D-scaling on Dexterity, entailing that this is a decent weapon for STR/FTH hybrid builds in Elden Ring.

Acquiring this weapon will require you to defeat Maliketh, the Black Blade boss. He is located at the far end of the Crumbling Farum Azula region of the game’s map. Players will unlock this part of the map after performing the Cardinal Sin of burning the great Erdtree.

Also, this is the first soft cap of point of no return in Elden Ring. Players will reach here after defeating the Fire Giant and then proceeding to Forge of the Giants.

Using the Shard of Alexander talisman will greatly boost the overall damage of Maliketh’s Black Blade’s Ashes of War. As mentioned above that, using this weapon in PvE is rather easy because you can easily predict enemy attack patterns.

However, when it comes to the PvP element of Elden Ring, most players may be aware of the slow moveset of this weapon’s Ashes of War, and getting the weapon to connect the damage will get tricky.

Using Maliketh’s Black Blade in PvE on large sized enemies or bosses will melt them pretty easily. Bosses such as Astel, Stars of Darkness, Elden Beast and other large sized ones will almost take all hits from this weapon’s Ashes of War and will go down faster compared to using small sized weapons.

Giant-Crusher

The Giant-Crusher is a colossal weapon in the game, and if you were to look for the best weapon in Elden Ring with hammers in particular, then this is the perfect armament for you. Why? Well, for starters, if you look at the requirement to properly wield this weapon, then you’d realize it requires 60 Strength.

This is something only a handful of weapons in Elden Ring have demanding character attributes as requirements to wield and use them properly.

Other than that, the Giant-Crusher weapon has C-Strength scaling right of the bat, and it packs quite a punch from the moment you get your hands on it. Of course, this is a pure strength build weapon, and if you’ve pumped your strength level to 70 or 80, then you can expect some crazy high damage output from the Giant-Crusher weapon in Elden Ring.

Additionally, the best part about wielding this colossal weapon is that you can infuse it with various Ashes of War and buff the overall damage as well. So, if you’re a magic user of having decent Faith and Arcane leveling, then you can use various incantations to increase the base damage. Essentially, if you infuse some buffs on the Giant-Crusher, you will not only be dealing physical damage but also magic, fire, bleed, poison, lightning, holy, and more, depending on the buff type you apply.

One of the absolutely crazy things we love about strength builds is the ability to power stance heavy and colossal weapons to deal might damage. This method also applies while wielding the Giant-Crusher weapon. While players can acquire only one weapon in New Game, you can always trade another from a friend or look up at Discord to find a player to trade the Giant-Crusher with another weapon.

Doing so will allow you to power stance, and the deal might damage than can range between 3-5k per hit; provided you apply all the buffs, equip Raptor’s armor, the talisman which increases the jump damage.

Considering you’ve upgraded the Giant-Crusher weapon to its max level, and if you apply heavy affinity to it, the weapon gets S-scaling in Strength. However, if you apply Cold affinity, you can get nearly 154 frostbite status effects per hit, essentially building up the frostbite build up faster.

The same goes for Poison and Blood build up. Applying the Poison affinity gives 138 poison build up, and applying blood affinity will give 120 hemorrhage status effect build up while using the Giant-Crusher weapon in Elden Ring.

In order to obtain the Giant-Crusher weapon, players will need to reach Altus Plateau after using the Dectus Medallion. After that, you will need to traverse further until you reach Outer Wall Phantom Tree Site of Grace, which is hard to miss considering you climb large stairways and encounter two tree sentinel field bosses.

The weapon can be found at the edge of a cliff inside a chest. The chest’s location is to the South of the Site of Grace we have shown in the map’s image above. Once you reach at the location, you will encounter a giant tree worm type of enemy that hits hard. If you have not invested much into leveling up Vigor, then this enemy can one or two-shot you. Also, if you are running a ranged class, then you can pretty much take this enemy out safely from a distance.

Twinblade

The first weapon on our list is the Twinblade. This is a sword (Read Elden Ring Best Swords) with blades on both sides and is deadly. The best part about the Twinblade is that it is an early game weapon, meaning that you won’t have to worry about progressing through the story to get this weapon.

The weapon goes well with Strength and Dexterity. So if you want to boost its stats, you will need to focus on increasing these two characteristics of your character. Get more information on this in our Elden Ring Strength Weapons article.

The Twinblade can deal 119 Physical damage. It has a skill called Spinning Slash, which allows the user to spin two times and attack its targets in the process. This skill can prove useful when fighting against a group of enemies or when you’re pushed to a corner. 

The Twinblade in Elden Ring can be acquired by going to the Dragon-Burnt ruins and entering the underground cellar. There, you will find the weapon inside a chest. 

Great Epee

Next, we have the Great Epee. This is a Heavy Thrusting Sword that hits hard. Because of this, it can deal a lot of damage with its attacks. Even though it is a heavy weapon, you can still use it with a shield. Therefore, you won’t have to worry about defense while using this weapon. Like the Twinblade, the Great Epee is also linked with Strength and Dexterity. This also makes it a perfect weapon for the Vagabond class since it offers high Strength and Dexterity. 

When it comes to attacking, the Great Epee sword can deal 124 Physical damage. The skill offered by this weapon is called Implaing Thrust. Using this skill, you can charge forward at your target and perform a powerful attack that can pierce through their armor. 

If you’re interested in getting this weapon, you first need to make your way to the top of a cliff located southeast of the Agheel Lake South site of grace. There, you will come across a statue that will resemble a half-circle. Turn around and make your way down until you find a group of enemies. After clearing the area, look around for a chest. The Great Epee will be inside this chest. 

Greataxe

The Greataxe is yet another powerful weapon in our best weapons list that you should get. It packs a great punch and can deliver powerful blows to the enemy. Unlike the weapons mentioned above, this one only levels up with Strength. If you’re who likes to carry around hard-hitting weapons in his arsenal, then you should get the Greataxe.

The Great Axe can deal 151 Physical damage with each attack. Its skill is called Barbaric Roar, through which you can perform a mighty shout that will increase your overall attack power. Furthermore, it will also transform regular attacks into savage attacks, thus allowing you to become a beast in combat. 

To get the Greataxe, you will need to first go to Limgrave, which is near Waypoint Ruins, and look around for a carriage escorted by two giant Trolls. You will need to take down the Trolls and other enemies nearby. Then, go to the carriage and open the chest inside it to get the weapon. 

Gargoyle’s Blackblade

Greatswords are one of my favorite weapons to use, and the Gargoyle’s Blackblade is easily one of the best Greatswords in Elden Ring. It can deal a decent amount of damage with each hit, and you can use it against multiple types of enemies. If you want to boost the overall stats of this weapon, then you will need to focus on increasing your character’s Faith, Strength, and Dexterity. 

The Gargoyle’s Blackblade can deal 102 Physical damage and 122 Holy damage. Its skill, called Corpse Wax Cutter, is pretty impressive as it lets you launch the Gargoyle’s Blackblade towards the target just like a projectile. Therefore, it can also act as a ranged weapon in Elden Ring. 

To get this weapon, you will need to defeat a boss in the game called Black Blade Kindred. You can find him in front of the Beastial Sanctum, and once you defeat him, he will drop the Gargoyle’s Blackblade. 

Clayman’s Harpoon

The Clayman’s Harpoon is the first Spear in our best weapons list. For those who don’t know, Spears are meant to help you engage in melee combat while keeping you at a safe distance. This makes them one of the best melee weapons in Elden Ring. As for the Clayman’s Harpoon, it is a great weapon that pairs well with Strength, Dexterity, and Intelligence. 

The Clayman’s Harpoon can deal 99 Physical damage with each attack and 64 Magical damage. Just like the Great Epee, this weapon also offers the Implaing Thrust. You can launch an attack that can pierce through the enemy’s armor thanks to it. Furthermore, it can also break their defense so that you can perform more attacks on them.

You will need to take down a Clayman to get your hands on this great Spear. This enemy usually wanders around in Uhl Palace Ruins, Ainsel River, and Siofra River. After you take one down, you’ll be able to pick up the Clayman’s Harpoon from its body. However, keep in mind that not all of them will drop this weapon, so keep on killing them until you acquire the Clayman’s Harpoon. 

Erdsteel Dagger

Daggers in Elden Ring are something that you should use when you’re up close and personal with an enemy. They have the shortest range among all weapons in the game. However, their short range can be overlooked with their attack speed as they can let you stab your enemies quickly. Furthermore, their Critical strikes are also deadly. As for the Erdsteel Dagger, it is one of the best Daggers in Elden Ring. 

The Erdsteel Dagger can deal 67 Physical damage. With each Critical strike, it does a whopping 110 damage. This is another weapon that goes well with Vegabond class in Elden Ring as it scales with Strength and Dexterity. As for its skill, it’s called Quickstep. Thanks to it, you can quickly reposition yourself and avoid getting attacked by the enemy. 

The Erdsteel Dagger in Elden Ring can be acquired by talking to Kenneth Haight. He will tell you how he needs your help to clear out Fort Haight, which is swarming with enemies. After you help him clear the fort, he will give you the Erdsteel Dagger as a reward. 

Eclipse Shotel

The Eclipse Shotel is a curved sword that can help you quickly land attacks on your target. Curved swords are faster than most of the other weapon types, and they can deal a good amount of damage within a short period. The Eclipse Shotel can be further improved by leveling up the Strength and Dexterity of your character. 

The Eclipse Shotel can deal 77 Physical damage and 77 Holy damage with each attack, thus making it an ideal choice against multiple types of enemies. Its skill is called Death Flare, and thanks to it, you can inflict death ailment on your targets. Furthermore, you can also create an explosion by using this skill. 

To get your hands on this Curved Sword, you will need to visit Castle Sol, located in the Mountaintops of the Giants. There, you’ll be able to find the weapon at the altar of the church. This area can be found in the southeast part of Castle Sol. However, keep in mind that you’ll encounter a bunch of formidable enemies in this castle, so make sure you’re prepared for a fight. 

Crystal Knife

The Crystal Knife is yet another Dagger in Elden Ring that you can trust in close-range combat. It can perform quick attacks and can prove to be a lethal weapon. It pairs well with Intelligence, Strength, and Dexterity. Furthermore, it can deal two types of damages, making it a decent choice.

This Dagger can deal 82 Physical damage and 52 Magical damage. It also uses the same skill as the previous Dagger that we mentioned, Quickstep. Thanks to it, you can reposition yourself quickly in combat and find a better position to attack your target. Or, you can use it to move out of the way of incoming attacks rapidly.

To get the Crystal Knife in Elden Ring, you must go to the Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel. From there, you will have to go three levels down and defeat all the Marionettes that you’ll face there. Then, look around for a chest, and you’ll find the Crystal Knife inside it. 

Cranial Vessel Candlestand

The first Warhammer on our best Elden Ring weapons guide is the Carnival Vessel Candlestand. Warhammers are slow weapons, but they deal much damage with each attack as they hit hard. The thing that makes the Carnial Vessel Candlestand one of the best weapons in Elden Ring is its ability to deal a good amount of Fire damage and physical damage. Furthermore, to improve its stats, you will need to level up your Strength, Dexterity, and Faith. 

The Carnival Vessel Candlestand can deal 98 Physical damage and 98 Fire damage. If this is not enough, you can use its Surge of Faith skill to rain down fireballs on your targets.

The fireballs can deal a lot of damage and help you weaken your enemies before you start attacking them with your weapon. This is something that will allow you to take down your targets quickly, no matter how tough they are.

To get this weapon, you will again need to visit the Mountaintops of the Giants and make your way to the Giant-Conquering Hero’s Grave. From there, look around for an Imp Statue in a large hall. The weapon will be on a corpse who is locked behind this statue. 

Fallingstar Beast Jaw

Colossal Weapons in Elden Ring are heavy weapons, meaning that you will need to have high Strength to use this weapon. If you belong to the Vegabond class in Elden Ring, you won’t have a hard time using this weapon. The Fallingstar Beast Jaw is a mighty Colossal weapon that can annihilate the enemy. The only downside about the Fallingstar Beast Jaw is that it’s a slow weapon, which is already expected from a heavy weapon. But considering it deals a massive amount of damage with each attack, its slow speed won’t bother you much.

The Fallingstar Beast Jaw can deal 131 Physical damage and 85 Magical damage. You can trust this weapon against strong enemies that are not easy to take down. As for its skill, it’s called Gravity Bolt, thanks to which you can become Thor in the game. This is because it lets you call down a powerful lightning bolt on your targets, which deals a good amount of damage. 

To get your hands on this fantastic Colossal weapon, you will need to make your way to Mt. Gelmir, where you’ll encounter a boss called Full-Grown Fallingstar Beast. After you take it down, you’ll be able to pick up the Fallingstar Beast Jaw from its corpse. 

Death Ritual Spear

Death Ritual Spear is yet another weapon that can help you attack your enemy while staying at a safe distance. This Spear pair wells with Strength, Dexterity, and Intelligence. You’ll need to increase these if you want to make the Death Ritual Spear more powerful.

The Spear can deal 99 Physical damage and 64 Magical damage. With each Critical attack, it can deal 110 damage. Its skill is called Spearcall Ritual, and it can help you rain down spectral spears on your targets. This skill is ideal for times when you’re fighting against a group of enemies. 

To get your hands on the Death Ritual Spear, you will need to find and take down the Death Rite Bird. This boss can be found in multiple locations, but you should try looking for him in the Mountaintops of the Giants first. After you take him down, you’ll be able to pick up the Death Ritual Spear from its corpse. 

Nagabika

The Nagabika is a powerful Katana in Elden Ring that can deal a good amount of damage with each attack. The weapon can be improved by leveling up Dexterity and Strength stats. The Nagabika can be used in mid-range combat, and it can perform both Thrust and Slash attacks.

The Nagabika can deal 115 Physical damage. Its skill, Piercing Gang, allows you to perform a powerful thrust attack that the enemy can not block. No matter how good the enemy’s defense is, the skill will make sure to break it. 

To get your hands on this Katana, you will need to complete the Bloody Finger Hunter Yura’s questline. 

Treespear

Earlier, we talked about Spears in our best weapons preference. But now, we’ll get down to Great Spears. Unlike regular Spears, these are heavy and deliver powerful blows to the enemy. However, they are slow, which is expected from a heavy weapon. But considering they deal a massive amount of damage with each strike, you won’t be bothered by their speed anyways. Furthermore, they also offer a greater range. And the Treespear is easily one of the best Great Spear in Elden Ring.

The Treespear pairs well with Strength, Faith, and Dexterity. This means that it suits the Vagabond and Confessor class the best. This is because Vagabond has high Strength and Dexterity, and Confessor has high Faith. The Treespear can deal 122 Physical damage and 79 Holy damage. Its skill is called Sacred Order.

To get the Treespear in Elden Ring, go to the Luirnia of the Lakes and visit the Lake Facing Cliffs site of grace. From there, head northeast towards the edge and look down.

Afterward, make your way down until you come across a chest guarded by a giant. Take him down to pick up the Treespear from the chest. 

Troll Knight’s Sword

The Troll Knight’s Sword is a Colossal Sword that is capable of dealing a lot of damage with each hit. For those who don’t know, Colossal Swords are similar to what the Ultra Greatswords were in the previous Souls games. Being a Colossal Sword, the Troll Knight’s Sword is heavy in weight and is hence slow. However, because of its heavyweight, it hits hard. 

The Troll Knight’s Sword can be improved by leveling up Strength, Dexterity, and Intellect. This makes it a good weapon to use if you belong to Vegabond, Astrologer, or Prisoner class. This is because while Vegabond offers high Strength and Dexterity, Astrologer and Prisoner offer high Intellect. Its skill is called Troll’s Roar. As its name suggests, it lets you deliver a mighty roar, which creates a shockwave that pushes your enemy’s back. This makes it worthwhile at times when you’re low on health and surrounded by enemies. 

You can find and take down Troll Knights to get this sword in Elden Ring. We will suggest you visit Caria Manor as the place is swarming with Troll Knights. Keep on eliminating them until one of them drops the Troll Knight’s Sword. 

Sword of Night and Flame

The Sword of Night and Flame is a Straight Sword that can perform multiple types of attacks and can deal a decent amount of damage with each one. Straight Swords are an ideal choice when you’re looking for something that can perform both slashing and thrusting attacks. The best part about them is that they are easy to use, meaning that it won’t take you long to master the Sword of Night and Flame.

The Sword of Night and Flame scales well with Strength, Dexterity, Faith, and Intelligence, thus making it a weapon that can go well with multiple classes. Furthermore, it can do 87 Physical damage, 56 Magical damage, and 56 Fire damage.

This makes it a weapon that can be used against many types of enemies. As for its skill, it’s called Night and Flame stance. Through it, you can hold the sword to cast a sorcery. After that, you’ll have the option to either perform a powerful sweep flame attack or cast the Night Comet Azur sorcery.  

To get your hands on the Sword of Night and Flame, you will need to go to Caria Manor, go behind the gardens in the east, and look around for a locked room. However, you can only access this room by going to the walkways above, which can be accessed through the chapel building that is located on the west side. 

Claymore

The Claymore is one of the best Greatswords in Elden Ring that can help you out in multiple situations. You can trust this weapon against numerous types of enemies as it can deal a good amount of damage with each hit. It scales with Strength and Dexterity. 

The Claymore can deal 138 Physical damage. Its skill is called Lion’s Claw, which allows you to somersault towards your targets and deal damage to them. 

To get your hands on this weapon, you will need to go to Castle Morne, go past the burning corpses, and then keep on going forward until you find a chest. This chest has the Claymore inside it. 

Rogier’s Rapier

If you’re looking for a weapon that can provide a balance between decent damage, good range, and a fast attack speed, then you should get the Rogier’s Rapier. This is a Thrusting Sword that can take down your opponent quickly and brutally. Its stats are improved when you level up your Strength and Dexterity. Because of its range, it can help you stay at a safe distance while attacking your enemy. 

The Rogier’s Rapier can deal a massive 136 Physical damage with each strike. Its Critical attacks are also capable of dealing 110 damage. Furthermore, its skill “Repeating Thrust” can help you quickly perform a series of thrusts. It will take some time for the skill to build up, but it’s mighty and can prove to be effective against multiple types of enemies. 

To get the Rogier’s Rapier in Elden Ring, you must first defeat Godrick the Grafted. Afterward, you’ll receive the weapon from Rogier as a reward when you visit him at the Roundtable Hold. 

Onyx Lord’s Greatsword

The Onyx Lord’s Greatsword is a powerful weapon that can be used against multiple types of enemies. Being a Curved Greatsword, the weapon can perform powerful attacks at the cost of slow speed. However, Curved Greatswords are meant to be heavy in weight to deal more damage than regular swords. 

The Onyx Lord’s Greatsword can deal 118 Physical damage and 76 Magical damage. It has a skill called Onyx Lord’s Repulsion. Through it, you can create a gravity well on the ground that not only deal damage to the enemies but also send them flying away. This skill can be used when a group of enemies surrounds you, but you cannot fight all of them at once. You can then use the Onyx Lord’s Repulsion to send some of them away.

To get this powerful Curved Greatsword, you will need to defeat the Onyx Lord, a boss in Elden Ring. To fight him, you will need to visit the Sealed Tunnel and make your way through it to enter the arena where you’ll find the Onyx Lord. 

Horn Bow

The Horn Bow is the first ranged weapon in our Elden Ring weapons guide. Ranged weapons can help you take down enemies that are far away, something that provides you the luxury of staying at a safe distance. As for the Horn Bow, it is easily one of the best-ranged weapons in Elden Ring because of how powerful it is. The Bow can scale well with Strength and Dexterity.

The Horn Bow can deal 65 Physical damage and 30 Magical damage with each attack. It has a skill called Mighty Shot, thanks to which you can fire a powerful shot at your target, which either pierces through the enemy’s armor or breaks their guard if they have any. After breaking the enemy’s guard, you can follow up with regular shots to take them down. 

To get the Horn Bow in Elden Ring, you will need to go to the stairs leading to Hallowhorn Grounds in Siofra River. The Bow will be beside a corpse. 

Starscourge Greatsword

If you’re looking for a weapon that can help you get up close and personal with your enemies, then you need to get the Starscourage Greatsword. It comes with a fantastic skill and can deal much damage with each attack. Furthermore, it scales with Strength, Dexterity, and Intelligence.

The Starscourage Greatsword can deal 129 Physical damage and 83 Magical damage. Its skill is called Starcaller Cry and it helps the user pull enemies in. Thanks to this, you can get the chance to attack your enemies from close range. 

To get your hands on this weapon, you will need to get it from Enia at the Roundtable Hold in exchange for the Remembrance of the Starcourge. 

Jar Cannon

Like the Horn Bow, the Jar Cannon is another fantastic ranged weapon in Elden Ring. It is a Ballista that is capable of dealing a lot of damage with each hit. The only downside about this weapon is its slow reload speed, because of why you’ll need to be extremely careful with each shot as you can’t afford to miss any. The Jar Cannon can not be scaled with any stats, unlike the weapons mentioned above. 

With each attack, the Jar Cannon can deal a massive 192 Physical damage. This makes it a perfect weapon to use against powerful enemies, as you’ll be able to deal a lot of damage while staying at a safe distance. It has a skill called Kick, which can push back enemies. 

The Jar Cannon can be acquired by defeating the Demi-Human Queen Margot, a boss in Elden Ring. This boss can be found in Mt. Gelmir, at the end of the Volcano Cave. 

Lusat’s Glintstone Staff

The Lusat’s Glintstone Staff is the first Glintstone Staff on our list. This is a special type of weapon that is different from others. Glintstone Staff in Elden Ring can not deal a lot of damage, but they can be used to cast Sorceries. Therefore, it is perfect for those players who want to use Magic Spells in combat. 

The Lusat’s Glintstone Staff can deal 24 Physical damage. Unlike most of the other weapons in Elden Ring, this one has no skill attached to it. 

To get your hands on this weapon, you will first need to defeat the Nox Swordstress and Nox Prest bosses, who can be found in Selia. They are a duo who can not be taken down quickly. After you defeat them, go north of where they were, and you’ll be able to find a chest with the Lusat’s Glinstone Staff inside it. 

Winged Scythe

The Winged Scythe is the type of weapon ideal for those looking for something that can deal a massive amount of Holy damage. The Winged Scythe is a Reaper, meaning that it offers a great range and comes with special sweep attacks. These sweep attacks can prove useful when fighting against a group of enemies as you can hit all of them with a single attack. 

The Winged Scythe scales well with Dexterity, Strength, and Faith. It can do 87 Physical damage and a massive 104 Holy damage. Its skill is called Angel’s Wings, which lets you deliver a powerful slash attack on the enemy, dealing a good amount of damage in the process. 

To get this Reaper, first, go to the Tombswar Ruins and make your way to the center. There, you will find stairs leading to an underground area. Go there and look around for a small room that can be found at the end. Inside this room, there is a chest, a small room with the Winged Scythe inside it. 

Gargoyle’s Black Halberd

Halberds in Elden Ring are meant to provide you with a long-range while offering a good amount of damage with each hit. This makes them a perfect weapon to use against different types of enemies as you don’t have to worry about getting close to the target while using them. The Gargoyle’s Black Halberd is one of the best weapons in Elden Ring because of how powerful it is.

The Gargoyle’s Black Halberd can deal 103 Physical damage and 123 Holy damage. The weapon is heavy, so you should expect it to perform slower than some other weapons in the game. It also has a powerful skill called Spinning Slash, which lets you perform a spinning attack that targets multiple enemies at once. If executed successfully, you can also perform a heavy attack at its end. 

Like the Gargoyle’s Blackblade, this weapon is also acquired by taking down the boss Black Blade Kindred, who can be found in Beastial Sanctum. 

Giant Red Braid

The Giant Red Braid is a Whip that can help you attack enemies from a great distance. This weapon is not suitable against armored enemies as it won’t affect them. However, you can trust this weapon to take them down for regular enemies. The weapon becomes more powerful as you level up your Strength, Dexterity, and Faith. 

The Giant Red Braid can deal 82 Physical damage and 53 Fire damage. Through it, you can set your Giant Red Braid on fire and perform a series of powerful attacks that can take down the enemies quickly. 

To get your hands on this Whip in Elden Ring, you will need to visit Enia at Roundtable Hold and give her the Remembrance of the Fire Giant. In return, she will provide you with the Giant Red Braid. 

Golden Halberd 

The Golden Halberd is easily one of the best weapons because of its massive power. It scales with Strength, Faith, and Dexterity, and you can trust this weapon in multiple situations. The range it offers can also prevent you from quickly attacking the enemy. 

The Golden Halberd can deal 134 Physical damage and 87 Holy damage. Its Golden Vow skill is one of the best skills in Elden Ring as it can increase your attack power and defense. If you have allies nearby, their attack power and defense will also boost. Therefore, if you’re looking for a weapon that can enhance your stats in combat, then you should get the Golden Halberd. 

You’ll need to go to Limgrave and take down the Tree Sentinel to acquire this weapon. After you take the boss down, the Golden Halberd will appear next to its corpse. 

Carian Regal Scepter

The Carian Regal Scepter is an excellent Glintstone Staff in Elden Ring that you should use with the highest intelligence level characters. It is one of the best staff for Intelligence builds. It goes pretty well with Sorcerers. It scales with Strength, Dexterity, and Intelligence.

The Carian Regal Scepter can deal 24 Physical damage, but its Sorcery number is set at 140. It has a defensive skill called Spinning Weapon. This makes the weapon spin in mid-air and attacks everyone near it.

To get this weapon in Elden Ring, you will need to visit Enia at the Roundtable Hold and give her the Remembrance of the Full Moon Queen. In return, she will provide you with the Carian Regal Scepter. 

Reduvia

The Reduvia is a powerful Dagger in Elden Ring that can stab enemies quickly and destroy them in close-range combat. If an enemy gets close and you have the Reduiva equipped, then you’ll be able to take them down instantly. The Dagger’s Strength can be further improved by leveling up Strength and Dexterity. 

The Reduvia can deal 79 Physical damage and 110 Critical damage. However, what makes it one of the best weapons in Elden Ring is its skill, Blood Blade. Through it, you can transform the bloodstains on your Dagger into projectiles that you can shoot at your enemy, which deal a lot of damage. 

To get your hands on the Reduvia dagger in Elden Ring, you will need to find and defeat the miniboss named Bloody Finger Nerijus. He can be found near the entrance to Murkwater Cave. As you’re running down the water, he will spawn at a great distance but will quickly come running towards you. Grafted Dragon

Fists in Elden Ring are unique and meant for highly close-range fights. They are equipped on both hands, and you can land powerful punches on your foes through them. It also scales well with Strength, Faith, and Dexterity, thus making it an ideal weapon for multiple classes. 

The Grafted Dragon Fists can deal 89 Physical damage and 57 fire damage. It has a skill called Bear Witness that can send out a powerful flame towards your target. The flame will deal a lot of damage and help you weaken your enemy before you can start landing powerful punches on them. 

The Grafted Dragon is another item you can obtain by going to Enia at the Roundtable Hold and exchanging it for the Remembrance of the Grafted item. 

Magma Whip Candlestick 

The second Whip I would like to mention is the Magma Whip Candlestick. It is another weapon that can help you perform attacks from a safe distance. The Magma Whip Candlestick can scale with Strength, Dexterity, and Faith. 

The Magma Whip Candlestick can deal 72 Physical damage and 72 Fire damage. It has a skill called Sea of Magma, through which you can transform this into a Molten whip that deals a lot of damage to the enemies. 

To get your hands on this great Whip, you will need to complete the assassination quest, Great Horned Tragoth, which will be given to you by Patches.

Moonviel 

Moonveil is easily one of the best Katanas in Elden Ring. It is a powerful weapon that can scale with Strength, Intelligence, and Dexterity. The Moonveil Katana can deal both Slash and Pierce damage, making it an ideal choice against multiple types of enemies. Whether you’re fighting against a regular group of enemies or a Boss, the Moonviel Katana won’t let you down.

The Moonviel Katana can deal 73 Physical damage and 87 Magical damage. It comes with a powerful skill called Transient Moonlight. Using it, you can perform an Instant Slash Attack that will be followed by a wave of light. The slash attack is potent and quick.

Black Knife

The Black Knife is easily one of the best Daggers available in Elden Ring. It is something that can destroy your enemy in close-ranged combat. You can land attacks on your target quickly and eliminate them within seconds by using it. Furthermore, you can level up your Strength, Faith, and Dexterity to increase this weapon’s stats.

The Black Knife can deal 66 Physical damage and 65 Holy damage. Furthermore, the Critical attacks of this weapon can deal a massive 110 damage. To get your hands on the Black Knife in Elden Ring, you will need to defeat the Black Knife Assassin. You can find him at the Sainted Hero’s Grave entrance, which is located in Atlus Plateau. The Grafted Blade Greatsword has one of the greatest base damage among all weapons in the game, making it perfect for use against Bosses. Furthermore, it scales with Strength and Dexterity.

The Grafted Blade Greatsword can deal a massive 157 Physical damage with each attack. The weapon is heavy and attacks slow, but it hits hard. With each hit, you’ll drain a lot of your enemy’s health. It has a skill called Oath of Vengeance, which increases your attributes by 5 for 30 seconds. 

If you’re interested in getting this weapon, you will have to defeat the Leonine Misbegotten, a boss you can find in Castle Morne. After you eliminate this boss, you’ll find the Grafted Blade Greatsword on its corpse. 

Magma Wyrm’s Scalesword

The Magma Wyrm’s Scalesword is another badass-looking weapon on our list that can deliver powerful attacks. It is a heavy-weight sword that can prove to be deadly in combat. You can further improve its stats by improving your Strength, Faith, and Dexterity stats. This also makes the weapon an ideal choice for multiple Classes. 

The Magma Wyrm’s Scalesword can deal 114 Physical damage and 74 Fire damage. Furthermore, it has a skill called Magma Guillotine. This skill allows you to hold the sword with both hands to smash it into the ground, creating a blast of magma. This blast deals a decent amount of damage to every enemy that gets caught inside its radius.

You can get your hands on the Magma Wyrm’s Scalesword by defeating a boss called Magma Wyrm Makar. This boss can be found in the Ruin-Strewn Precipice. 

Meteoric Ore Blade

The Meteoric Ore Blade is easily one of the top weapons in Elden Ring. The best part about it is that it’s an early game Elden Ring weapon. It scales with Strength, Intelligence, and Dexterity. Furthermore, it can deal both Slash and Pierce damage in combat. 

The Meteoric Ore Blade can deal 112 Physical damage and 72 Magical damage. It has a skill called Gravitas, which allows the user to create a gravity well on the ground. This gravity pulls in enemies and damages them in the process. It also provides you with the chance to get up close and personal with the enemies. 

The Meteoric Ore Blade in Elden Ring can be found in the Caelid Waypoint Ruins. Overall, the weapon is easy to acquire, and you should get it during the early parts of the game to make combat easier. 

Banished Knight’s Halberd 

The Banished Knight‘s Halberd is one of the best weapons to use in Elden Ring because of its power and skill. It scales with Strength and Dexterity, so you can further improve this weapon by leveling these two stats of your character. 

The weapon can deal 125 Physical damage with each attack. Its skill is called Charge Forth, thanks to which you can instantly charge forward and cover a great distance with it. 

The Banished Knight’s Halberd in Elden Ring can be acquired by different methods. But I recommend you get the (+8) upgraded version, which is dropped by Edgar the Revenger after he’s defeated at the Revenger’s Shack. 

Beast-Repellent Torch

While every other weapon in Elden Ring focuses on attacking the enemies, there is one that can keep some of them away as well. The Beast-Repellent is a Torch that you can use to keep a couple of beasts away, such as hounds, bears, and rats. When the Torch is lit, it will keep all of them away and prevent them from attacking you unless you attack them first.

The Beast-Repellent Torch scales with Strength and Dexterity. It can do 58 Physical damage and 104 Fire damage. The Torch has a skill called Torch Attack, thanks to which you can set your enemies on fire, thus dealing damage to them over time. 

To get your hands on the Beast-Repellent Torch in Elden Ring, you will need to visit the Isolated Merchant in Dragonbarrow and purchase it from him for 1,200 Runes. 

Rivers of Blood

The Rivers of Blood is a Katana in Elden Ring that is extremely deadly. I mean, its name is enough to tell you how lethal it is. The Rivers of Blood is ideal for mid-range combat, and its attack speed is also decent. It can deal a good amount of damage with each hit, and it pairs well with Strength, Dexterity, and Faith. 

The Rivers of Blood Katana can deal 89 Physical damage. Its skill is called Corpse Piler, an extremely powerful skill that can help you perform a series of powerful attacks. This makes the Rivers of Blood an ideal weapon to use against a powerful group of enemies. Even if you’re fighting a single enemy, the skill will let you take them down instantly. 

The Rivers of Blood is a late-game weapon as it can be acquired by defeating Bloody Finger Okina. He can be found near the Church of Repose, an area that you will visit later in the game. Keep in mind that Bloody Finger Okina is not an easy boss to defeat, so make sure you’re prepared for a good fight. Otherwise, you’ll keep on getting killed by the same Katana you’re fighting for. Cipher Pata 

If you’re looking for a weapon that can only deal Holy damage, then you should get the Cipher Pata. This is a Fist which you can equip on your hands. The weapon can scale with Faith only, meaning that you should use it if you belong to the Confessor class. 

The Cipher Pata can deal 85 Holy damage. It has an extremely powerful skill called Unblockable Blade. Thanks to it, you can perform a powerful piercing attack by lunging forward. The best part about this attack is that it can not be blocked.

To get the Cipher Pata in Elden Ring, you will need to look for it inside a room in the Roundtable Hold. The room is located on the left side of the area that Mag Tongue Alberich invaded. 

Bloodhound’s Fang

Finally, we have the Bloodhound’s Fang. This is an excellent weapon that can perform powerful melee attacks, but at the same time lets, you quickly get a safe distance from the enemies. It can deal a lot of damage with each attack, and you can trust this weapon in every situation.

This Curved Greatsword can do 141 Physical damage. Its skill is called Bloodound’s Finesse, and thanks to it, you can perform a quick backward somersault and get away from your enemies, followed by a powerful Step attack. To get the Bloodhound’s Fang in Elden Ring, you will need to visit Limgrave and defeat the boss called Bloodhound Knight Darriwil. After you eliminate him, you’ll be able to pick up the sword from his corpse.
