1. Jazzy

- Rarity: Legendary
- Price: 1900 Credits
We are kicking things off with our personal favorite skins in the game called the Jazzy. As you can obviously see in the image above, this skin for Lucio is based on the Jazz genre of music as he dons a stylish fedora with aviators to make him look sleek for the battlefield. The skin is available to buy, but you can also receive it during the Overwatch Anniversary event, which may make a return sometime in the future for Overwatch 2.
Minor intricate details matter so much in the outfit as he wears a crisp suit on the upper waist, and the bronze-colored legs are inspired by the musical instruments known as the trumpets.
Perhaps the most remarkable detail is that the gun is also transformed into a music box, as whenever you use his ‘Crossfade’ ability to switch between healing and speed boost, it will play a jazz-themed melody. That aspect alone makes this one of the Best skins available for Lucio in Overwatch 2.
2. Selecao

- Rarity: Legendary
- Price: 1900 Credits
As you can probably tell by the image above, The Selecao skin for Lucio represents his home and passion for soccer as he grew up playing the sport before he transitioned into the music industry. It is yet another great skin that can be purchased or acquired via the Summer Games event loot boxes, which are just more of the events from the original game that might return in Overwatch 2.
The outfit of the skin highlights the colors of the Brazilian national flag. Also, it transforms Lucio into an avid soccer player of the country, truly making him return to his roots. He wears shorts and a headband to signify the street soccer style of his home. The gun also features a soccer ball mark on it, which is a pretty cool detail to go along with the skin and earns a place at the top of our list.
3. Equalizer

- Rarity: Legendary
- Price: Cannot be Purchased
The image above is another of the best skins ever made for Lucio, as the Equalizer is another funky skin that was available during the Overwatch Archives event. Unfortunately, you will have to be patient for the skin to be made purchasable again in the in-game store, so keep your eyes peeled for what’s new over there.
The outfit and the skin’s visuals are geared toward Lucio’s futuristic side, as the most notable detail revolves around the pants having a dynamic music visualizer that goes in sync with his beats during battle. Lucio wears a bandana with his signature DJ icon on it, along with a Jamaican-like cornrow hairstyle as the icing on top.
The bright yellow colors on the boots are yet another example of his eccentric and cheery personality to create another perfect skin for this character that you can use in Overwatch 2.
4. Capoeira

- Rarity: Legendary
- Price: 1900 Credits
Most natives might know about it, but if you look closely at the skin from our image above, Capoeira is essentially an art tradition of the Brazillian culture that involves a mixture of acrobatics, dancing, and martial arts. It wonderfully incorporates that aspect into Lucio’s lineage as his dancing and free-flow movement often resemble that art form, making it one of the few great legendary skins in the game.
Thankfully the skin isn’t tied to any event in particular and can be purchased from the hero menu itself. Lucio wears the pride of the art in the outfit, which is easily distinguishable by the wristbands and track-suit-like design, which honestly makes him look similar to Eddy Gordo’s iconic outfits from the Tekken series.
The gun also features a tribal-like makeshift design with a wooden finish that almost makes it resemble the different instruments used for the Capoeira festivities.
5. Satyr

- Rarity: Legendary
- Price: 1900 Credits
Ever wanted to bring out your inner Evil God-like status and showcase it in Overwatch 2? Satyr is basically based on the drunk woodland God belonging to Greek and Roman mythology, but the skin in Overwatch 2 for Lucio, as shown in the image above, depicts the latter here with the demonic goat-like appearance.
The skin was available as part of the 2021 Halloween Terror Event in Overwatch 1, and now, you can easily purchase it from the main skins screen of the hero. The skin is among the top 5 for its devilish and heinous look, almost as if Blizzard intentionally made a collaborative effort with the Diablo Franchise for the art style and details. The weapon also gets the same treatment here, with a skull of a Ram on it to give it a beastly visual.
6. Snow Fox

- Rarity: Legendary
- Price: 1900 Credits
One of the most visually appealing skins in the game has to be the Snow Fox for Lucio. As shown in the image above, he is transformed into a literal arctic fox as the tails are represented by the tails coming out of his battle mask, and the entire attire for the skin is a fantastic color combination of neon green, silver, and blue.
It is worth mentioning that the skin is a part of the Winter Wonderland event from the first Overwatch, and it was well-received by Lucio fans since the event finally showcased a legendary skin tailor-made for him. The gun is also customized with the skin as it features mini icicles dangling from underneath it. The helmet for Lucio in this skin also features adorable fox ears that complement the outfit’s theme well.
7. Ribbit

- Rarity: Legendary
- Price: 1900 Credits
As shown in the image above, Ribbit is one of the vanilla skins for Lucio, which has been available for him since the launch of the first Overwatch. It returns in Overwatch 2 as Lucio transforms into his DJ personality in complete style, wearing the frog-like mask with a spectacular color choice of teal and silver. The outfit is simple enough and doesn’t feature too many small details, as you saw in our ones, as mentioned earlier.
However, there is another color variant here, too, which is just as popular, but at the end of the day, both come down to personal choices on which one is better for you.
8. Hippityhop

- Rarity: Legendary
- Price: 1900 Credits
The Hippityhop is essentially just a color variant of the Ribbit skin, as you can tell by the image above, and the only real difference is that this skin features an all-gold appearance for those who prefer the luxurious or metallic finish to Lucio’s design. It all comes down to preferences between both this and the Ribbit variant, but we would still prefer the latter since the Gold shine of Hippityhop stands out a little too much for our taste buds.
It was also included alongside the Ribbit at the launch of the first game and looks great to purchase now with Overwatch 2 and its enhanced visuals. The Golden Gun skin that you grind from competitive may look weird on it since it will already be gold due to the skin’s primary colors.
9. Breakaway

- Rarity: Legendary
- Price: 1900 Credits
As shown in the image above, Breakaway takes inspiration from Lucio’s rollerblades and transforms them into Ice Hockey skating blades. It also gives him a proper player-like appearance as he dons a hockey stick on his back as well as wears a uniform to go full thematic with the visuals. It is one of the lesser popular legendary skins, in our opinion, but it still impresses enough to put it here among our list of the Best Lucio skins in the game.
10. Samul Nori

- Rarity: Legendary
- Price: Cannot be purchased
One of the major highlights during the Lunar New Year event in the original Overwatch at the end of its lifespan saw the game finally including a legendary skin for Lucio geared towards the event’s theme. As you can see in the image above, The skin adds a whole new theme to Lucio’s style based on an ancient tradition of Korea.
In Layman’s terms, Samul Nori can be defined as a sub-genre of Percussion music that was founded in Korea. These words can be broken down into ‘Four Objects’ from Samul and ‘Play’ from Nori. The details are staggering on it as Lucio also supports the hat worn by the Samul Nori musicians during the parades in the country.
Another key detail is that the weapon design is essentially based on the ‘Pungmul,’ which is an integral instrument used in the composition of the music. Unfortunately, you will only be able to collect the skin if it gets added to the weekly store rotation or, by any chance, if the Lunar New Year event rolls around once again.
11. Gorgon

- Rarity: Epic
- Price: 1000
Moving on to a few of the Epic skins, Lucio is transformed into an alternate version of Medusa as he is granted the powers of the Gorgon in this Epic stellar skin, as shown in the image above. The outfit is wonderfully designed with a sleek green and black pattern, followed by the main eye-catchy aspect of the hair being snakes. Lucio’s eyes also have a faint glow which makes it one of the few best skins in the epic rarity.
Although the Gorgon skin made its debut during Halloween Terror, it can be purchased quite easily for a measly 1000 coins from the hero screen. Lastly, the weapon also has a cool pattern on it that mimics the scales on a serpent or reptile, which is another deal-maker for this skin in particular.
12. the Andes

- Rarity: Epic
- Price: Cannot be purchased
As shown in the image above, Andes is an epic skin for Lucio that was made available during the Winter Wonderland Event and featured our star-studded DJ in a ski outfit that comes complete with a winter hat as the cherry on top.
However, You will have to wait until it arrives in one of the rotations for purchasable items via the in-game store, as you cannot purchase it through the skins menu in the hero screen. The gun also features a small but excellent design around the outer rim and supports a Teal color scheme like the outfit of its user.
13. Bitrate

- Rarity: Epic
- Price: Cannot be purchased
If you are a fan of Retrowave aesthetics, then look no further than the Bitrate skin for Lucio. As shown in the image above, the skin supports a unique color scheme of neon pink, starting from the legs all the way to a dark purple-esque finish on the upper half of the outfit. Furthermore, Lucio also has neon shades on with his signature logo on the chest to personify the skin as one of the few best skins for him in the game.
Be on the lookout in the in-game item store to see when the skin is made purchasable again, as it might scratch the itch of trying to stylize Lucio with a 90s Hip-Hop theme.
14. Auditiva

- Rarity: Epic
- Price: 1000
The Auditiva deserves a place on our list because, as you can see in the image above, the design is minimalistic, and for those looking for that type of skin on Lucio, this might be it. There isn’t too much to go over here aside from the legs having a crisp white stature ending with a dark green tint at the top of the waist.
The main noteworthy detail is that our eccentric DJ dons dark green camo goggles with the skin, making it a great choice and color mix for anyone interested in equipping it.
15. Overwatch 2 Default Skin

- Rarity: Common
- Price: Free
Last but certainly not least, it wouldn’t sit right with us if we didn’t include the new Overwatch 2 skin for Lucio, and there are a few reasons for it being here. Comparing his original one back in the first game and the new one, you can quickly tell how much has changed in it aside from the other heroes and their normal skins. As shown in the image above, the default skin in the sequel now makes Lucio a full-fledged Overwatch operative.
The Urban and street-smart look from the first game is completely changed as Lucio now looks more advanced and vivid thanks to the bright color scheme of the attire. His dreadlocks are glowing in neon fashion, and he also uses a brand-new pair of goggles, making it an overall fantastic new skin built from the ground up for Lucio.
Wrap Up
When it comes to Lucio, he’s easily one of the most beloved characters in the game due to his fun skillset and capability on the battlefield as a healer who can heal and help his teammates recover their momentum too. Since the release of Overwatch 1, Lucio has received a wide array of skins that can alter his appearance in unique ways. It is also worth noting that he may also provide unique voice lines too at rare occasions during gameplay.
Most of them are easily unlockable inside the game via the Overwatch Coins currency that you can earn by completing battle pass challenges. Players who have used the Cross-progression Feature in Overwatch 2 may also have some extra legacy credits to spend on these skins, but we will only be focusing on the new currency for the sequel.
That wraps up our brief guide to some of our favorite skins for Lucio in the game. If you are looking to buy the non-purchasable ones, then be sure to always hop in on what’s new in the in-game store, which is constantly refreshing its stock.
Lucio is easily one of the most fun support characters, allowing you both to heal and run like the wind with his speed boost ability. He is an easy unit to pick up and master, as you will only need to pay attention to when to use his sound barrier Ultimate for dire situations and when to amp up his healing or speed boosts.
Overwatch 2 has received some mixed feedback as of late, but we at eXputer are enjoying it quite a lot; considering many new changes, it still manages to be a joyful experience, especially with friends.
