And through our Elden Ring Banished Knight’s Halberd +8 location guide, you’ll be able to acquire this weapon in no time.

How To Get Banished Knight’s Halberd +8 In Elden Ring

The Banished Knight’s Halberd +8 is easily one of the best weapons in Elden Ring. It is an extremely powerful weapon that can help you defeat multiple types of enemies. In our guide, we are going to mention a total of three methods through which you can acquire Banished Knight’s Halberd +8. The best part is that it is possible to acquire this powerful Halberd during the game’s early stages, just like the Meteoric Ore Blade. So without any further due, let’s talk about how to get Banished Knight’s Halberd +8 in Elden Ring.

First Method – Visit Stormveil Castle

Stormveil Castle

The first method of getting Banished Knight’s Halberd +8 is by visiting the Stormveil Castle. But before you can do that, you must first defeat Margit the Fell Omen. This is the first major Boss that you’ll encounter in the game. And if you don’t defeat him, you won’t be able to progress further.

If you’re new to the game, then taking down Margit can be a challenging and difficult task. However, if you use Ashes of War and Ashen Remains, the process can get easier. Furthermore, summoning an NPC before starting the Boss fight will also help you easily take down this powerful Boss. On the subject of bosses, consider reading our Elden Ring Bosses Tier List and learn about the easiest and the most challenging bosses in the game.

After you have successfully defeated Margit, make your way to Stormveil Castle. This place is crawling with enemies, so make sure you’re properly prepared for it. Once you enter the castle, you will need to find and take down Banished Knights. The annoying part is that you won’t be able to tell which one will drop the Banished Knight’s Halberd +8, so you will need to keep on eliminating them one by one until you see the drop.

If you’re lucky enough, then you might be able to pick up the powerful Halberd from the first few Knights. But for most of you, the weapon will not drop until you have eliminated a good number of Banished Knights.

Second Method – Kill Edgar

The second method involves killing the NPC Edgar. For this, you will need to make your way to Castle Mourne. However, before going there, you will first need to meet Irina.

To meet her, you will first need to go to the bridge that connects Limgrave to Weeping Peninsula. Crossing the bridge is not a walk in the park as the place is filled with enemies. After you successfully defeat them all or run past them, you need to find the Site of Grace at the end of the bridge. You will be able to find Irina near this Site of Grace. After you talk to Irina, she will give you a letter and will ask you to give it to her father, Edgar.

With the letter in your hands, you will need to make your way inside Castle Mourne and find Edgar. Keep in mind that this castle is also filled with powerful enemies. If you’re up for a challenge, then you can defeat them all. However, if you want to get your hands on the Banished Knight’s Halberd +8 as quickly as possible, then it is recommended that you avoid fighting and run past them.

Edgar is located on the upper parts of Castle Mourne, so you will need to keep on exploring the castle until you find a ladder that will take you to him. After you find and talk to Edgar, the game will allow you to choose whether you want to give Irina’s letter to him or not. For this method, you are going to keep the letter to yourself and kill Edgar. He isn’t someone difficult to take down, so you’ll get done with it quickly. After you eliminate him, you’ll be able to pick up the Banished Knight’s Halberd +8 from the ground.

Third Method – Complete Irina’s Questline

As for the third method in our Elden Ring Banished Knight’s Halberd +8 location guide, it is linked to the method mentioned above. If you’re not in favor of killing Edgar, then you can hand him over the letter, after which you’ll need to finish the entire Irina’s questline. For this, you will need to clear Castle Mourne, which can be done by finding and defeating the Leonine Misbegotten boss.

To find this boss, you will need to head southwest from the “Besides the Rampart Gaol” Site of Grace. As you keep on going forward, you will be able to see the golden fog wall leading to the boss arena. After you successfully eliminate this boss, you will get rewarded with 3800 runes and a bronze trophy. If you want to level up faster early game, then read our best rune farming methods in Elden Ring guide.

Furthermore, you’ll receive the Grafted Blade Greatsword, which is one of the best swords in the game. Also, if you fancy greatswords, then read our Elden Ring Greatsword Build guide.

After eliminating Leonine Misbegotten, go to the first Site of Grace of Castle Mourne where you’ll be able to find Edgar and talk to him. He will thank you for your help and will visit his daughter. After he goes away, you will need to visit Irina as well, which can be done by going to the Bridge of Sacrifice Site of Grace. However, this time, you’ll find the dead body of Irina, and Edgar will be seen devastated right next to it.

You will then need to visit the location marked in the image below and interact with the Site of Grace that you’ll find in this area. You will get invaded by Edgar the Revenger, and you will need to eliminate him. He isn’t someone difficult to defeat as he has a low health bar. After you take him down, you’ll be able to pick up the Banished Knight’s Halberd from his grave.

These were three methods through which you can acquire this powerful weapon in the game. Keep in mind that the first two methods are the quickest and the easiest way of acquiring the weapon. But if you want to do the questline, you can follow the third method. The third method will also provide you with another powerful weapon, so the extra time you’ll spend on it will be worth it.

This marks the end of our Elden Ring Banished Knight’s Halberd +8 location guide. We hope that it will help you acquire this powerful Halberd quickly and easily. Before you leave, make sure to give our Elden Ring review a read as well.
