Desert Eagle
Rate of Fire | Damage | Magazine | Handling | Accuracy | Velocity |
255 | 5.5 | 8 | 7.3 | 3.5 | 5.0 |
The first hidden weapon in Far Cry 6 that we would like to mention is the Desert Eagle. This weapon has always remained a popular choice in many multiplayer games because of its power and handling. In Far Cry 6, the weapon has the same reputation. The damage output of the weapon is great, you won’t have a problem with its accuracy, and it has enough bullets in its magazine so you won’t have to reload it after every few seconds.
The Desert Eagle can be further improved at the workbench. For instance, you can equip the armor-piercing rounds for it, after which you’ll be able to take down your enemies instantly. If you’re someone who likes stealth, then you can also place a suppressor on it. This way, you’ll be able to clear an entire base of enemies without them even knowing. Overall, the Desert Eagle is an extremely powerful weapon. With the right attachments, it can easily become the best pistol in Far Cry 6.
How to get the Desert Eagle in Far Cry 6: You will need to complete a treasure hunt called The Last One to Leave, which is located in the Esperanza region. The most interesting thing is that this is the only treasure hunt available in this region. The exact location of it can be seen in the image below.

In this treasure hunt, you are assigned the task to open up the door of the substation by using three different switches. The easiest way to find out where the switches are located is by going to the roof of the small building where you start the treasure hunt and then seeing where the three main wires are going.
The first switch is located on the water tower and you can climb it to reach the switch. The second one is in a small house, but you’ll first need to destroy the big yellow tank that is right next to it. You can do this by either emptying your weapon’s magazine on the tank or by throwing a grenade at it. This needs to be done because the house is filled with toxic gas and the only way to make it disappear is by destroying the tank.
As for the third and final switch, you’ll need to first head to the house where the third wire is going. Once you enter the house, you will need to solve a puzzle to find the switch. This involves first turning on the radio, then the TV, and then interacting with the painting that is on the wall on the right side of the TV. After you successfully do this in the same order, a secret door will open right next to the painting and you’ll be able to see the final switch.
After you have pulled all three switches, make your way back to the substation. The door will now be unlocked and you can enter the room to get your hands on the Desert Eagle.
1911
Rate of Fire | Damage | Magazine | Handling | Stealth | Velocity |
380 | 4.0 | 8 | 7.3 | 3.8 | 5.0 |
The second on our Far Cry 6 Hidden Weapons Locations guide is the 1911. This is yet another pistol on our list that is easily one of the best sidearms in the entire game. . Since you can carry around only one sidearm, you need to choose it wisely. As for the 1911 pistol, it’s definitely an amazing one. Its overall stats are better than most of the other pistols available in the game, which instantly makes it one of the best.
Its damage output is great while its handling is super amazing. It can take down the enemy in a few shots to the body and only one shot to the head. As the 1911 pistol is just a regular weapon, you can improve it on the workbench. You can equip a silencer with it to perform stealth kills and add some other attachments to it as well.
How to get the 1911 pistol in Far Cry 6: You’ll need to complete the treasure hunt called The Beat Goes On. This treasure hunt can be found in the Valle De Oro region and you can see its exact location in the image below. In this treasure hunt, you need to make your way to a DJ Booth to acquire a USB stick.

The first thing you need to do is make your way into the nightclub area located inside the cave. You will see a disco ball above your head with a grappling point in the cave and you can use it to swing over to the platform. You will then need to interact with the switch in front of you to turn on the lights, something that will also unlock the nightclub’s door.
Go through the door that was locked before and you will enter the cave. There will be electrified water in this area, so make sure to avoid it. Once you’re in, use the ledges to reach the top. You will then enter an area where you’ll again need to use yellow ledges to reach the top. Then, you’ll come across a grappling point from where you’ll need to swing to the next area.
After you land in the next area, use the stairs to go up where you’ll come across another grappling point which you can use to jump to the other side of the waterfall. After you do that, you’ll come across a place where you’ll find the USB stick as well as a stash that will have the 1911 pistol inside it.
Grenade Launcher
Rate of Fire | Damage | Magazine | Handling | Accuracy | Velocity |
250 | 10.0 | 6 | 3.7 | 5.0 | 5.0 |
Far Cry 6 is the kind of game that allows you to go wild. If you’re someone who likes to create havoc, then you should definitely get your hands on the MGL-6 Grenade Launcher. This hidden weapon in Far Cry 6 is a beast and it can help you destroy an entire fleet of enemies quickly. Since it’s a grenade launcher, its damage output is massive and it can be even used against armored vehicles.
The MGL-6 is the best grenade launcher in Far Cry 6 because of many reasons. Since it’s not a unique weapon, you can apply different mods and attachments to it. However, the weapon already is extremely powerful and it can do its job perfectly without any upgrades. The best part is that you can even change the type of grenades the launcher fires, such as smoke grenades.
The launcher comes with a magazine size of 6 grenades, which is pretty decent. Overall, the weapon is super amazing and is a must-have. There are times in Far Cry 6 when you’re surrounded by enemy vehicles and have nowhere to run. But with the MGL-6 in your hands, you can clear your surroundings within seconds.
MGL-6 Grenade Launcher Hidden Weapon Location in Far Cry 6: You will need to complete the treasure hunt called Parting Gifts, located in the El Este region. The exact location of Parting Gifts can be seen below.

In this treasure hunt, you will need to get inside the main building to access the Coco Oven. To do that, you will first need to open up the locked hatch that is located on the top of the building.
The first thing you will need to do is take the orange generator that is right next to the building to a hut located on the south of Coco Oven. While you can attach the generator to the blue truck that is parked outside, you can also push the generator manually and take it to the mentioned location. After doing that, head towards the blue water pump located on the left side of the hut. Interact with it to make it put out the fire in the main building.
After you have done the above-mentioned tasks, head inside the building and look for a vent with a fan. Shoot down the lock of the hatch that you’ll see through the vent and then make your way to the top of the building to drop down into the room through the hatch. Inside the room, you’ll find a key that you can use to unlock the door that has the Grenade Launcher inside it.
M16A1
Rate of Fire | Damage | Magazine | Handling | Accuracy | Velocity |
900 | 2.5 | 20 | 5.8 | 3.2 | 5.0 |
The next Far Cry 6 hidden weapon on our list is the M16A1. Now, before you say it, we know it’s only a 2-Star weapon. However, what some of you don’t know is that this weapon is extremely powerful and you won’t regret getting it. The damage output of this weapon is amazing and you can take down your enemy in only a few shots by using it.
The only downside about this weapon is its massive recoil, which makes it a little difficult to control. However, the thing which I like about the M16A1 is that it features a burst mode and you should switch to it as soon as you get your hands on the weapon. This is because it will help you accurately land your shots on the enemy and you won’t have to worry about controlling its spray.
Another amazing thing about the M16A1 is it’s fast reload speed. In fact, it loads quicker than most of the weapons present in the game. This is a big plus point as you won’t have to worry about long reload times when you empty the magazine. Other than that, you can further improve it in the workbench. However, the only thing you need to get is a suppressor and a good sight as everything else about this weapon is fine from the start.
How to get the Hidden Weapon M16A1 in Far Cry 6: You need to complete the treasure hunt called High Supply in the Madrugada region. Its exact location can be seen in the image below.

The High Supply treasure hunt in Far Cry 6 is one of the easiest ones. You are assigned the task to reach an airdrop, something which can be done by completing an obstacle course. You will need to climb up the hill which will involve using grappling hooks, walking over thin planks, jumping over rocks, and so on. At the end of your journey, you’ll see a supply drop. All you need to do is interact with it to get the M16A1.
M16 Special Variant
Rate of Fire | Damage | Magazine | Handling | Accuracy | Velocity |
900 | 3.4 | 20 | 5.8 | 3.2 | 5.0 |
What some people don’t know is that Ubisoft has also included a special variant of the M16 in the game. Just like the above-mentioned weapon, this one also has a high damage output and can help you bag in a lot of kills.
Since it’s a special variant, it comes with its own perks. While the regular M16A1 has an amazing reload speed, the special variant has a mod that improves the reloading speed if you’re replacing a partially used magazine. In other words, you’ll be able to reload super quickly if there are still some bullets left in your magazine. This can help you always keep your magazine full by reloading after every kill. In addition to this, the weapon has another mod that improves draw as well as holster speed.
M16 Special Variant Hidden Weapon Location in Far Cry 6: You need to complete A Rising Tide treasure hunt. The treasure hunt is located in El Este region and you can see its exact location below.

A Rising Tide is a simple treasure hunt in which you’ll need to go inside the house where you’ll begin the hunt. There, you’ll see a total of five signs and each one will have the name of a different ’67 Legend. Right next to each of them, there is a button that you need to press, but in the correct order. To find out the order, you need to find five boats that contain the names and the corresponding numbers of the legends. However, to save your time, we’ll go ahead and mention the correct order:
- El Tigre Del Mar
- Papi Chulo
- El Lucky
- Clarita
- Roja Victoria
After you press the buttons in the correct order, you’ll be able to enter the locked room. This room will contain the stash that will have the M16 special variant inside it.
MG42
Rate of Fire | Damage | Magazine | Handling | Accuracy | Velocity |
1176 | 2.5 | 100 | 2.4 | 2.0 | 5.0 |
The next hidden weapon in Far Cry 6 that we would like to mention is the MG42 LMG. Now, I’ll be honest. I’m a huge fan of LMGs. This is mainly because of the massive firepower they offer, something that can help you take on a large group of enemies. As for the MG42, it is easily one of the best LMGs available in Far Cry 6 and you won’t find any issues with it. The handling of this weapon is great and you won’t have a hard time controlling it.
Just like the rest of the LMGS present in Far Cry 6, the MG42 can be used against vehicles as well. However, the MG42 has the highest fire rate out of all LMGs, a reason why I prefer it over others. The damage output of this weapon isn’t that great, but you can increase it by applying different mods to it.
Other than that, you can either use the armor-piercing rounds with it if you’re planning to use it against people only or the blast rounds if you want to destroy every vehicle in your path. Overall, the MG42 is a must-have weapon as it can prove to be effective against the powerful enemies that you’ll face in the final stages of the game.
MG42 Hidden Weapon Location in Far Cry 6: This weapon can be acquired by completing the Sweet Fifteen treasure hunt that is located in the El Este region. You can find its exact location below.

In this treasure hunt, you will need to turn on four switches to access a room that has the MG42 inside. Since the four switches are hidden, you’ll spend the entire time finding them.
When you’re inside the warehouse, climb the ledge on the right side of the main button. You’ll see a lock on the door right behind the boxes when you climb the ledge. Shoot it as you’ll need to access this door later. Once done, turn around and jump on the rail. As you’re walking on the rail, you’ll see a room on the left side. Go inside it and make your way down by using the stairs to access the first switch.
Once you’ve pulled the first switch, turn around and head to the other room. You will need to crouch for this and destroy a wooden panel that you will encounter. Proceed going forward and you’ll come across a room where you’ll see electric wires on the ground. I don’t need to mention that you’ll get roasted to death if you touch them. Therefore, use the tables to reach the front and you’ll then come across a button. Interact with it to turn off the electricity. You can then enter the room to pull the second switch.
After you get out of the room, you’ll need to climb the stairs on the left side and then make your way to a room that will have the third switch. As for the fourth and final switch, you will need to go all the way back on the rail. However, instead of going to the room on the left, head straight this time and turn right. You’ll instantly see the fourth switch on the grill wall.
After you have successfully pulled all four switches, go back to the warehouse to press the button. You can then access your rewards and this is how you get the MG42 in Far Cry 6.
Into Orbit
Rate of Fire | Damage | Magazine | Handling | Accuracy | Velocity |
14 | 10 | 1 | 3 | 9 | 5 |
Another powerful hidden weapon in Far Cry 6 is Into Orbit. This is a Rocket Launcher and it’s the best one you can get in the game. It’s always wise to keep a Rocket Launcher in the inventory because you never know when things will get ugly.
The best thing about Into Orbit is that it features guided rockets. This means that you can aim towards any vehicle and the launcher will lock onto it after a few seconds. The damage output of the rockets is pretty huge. You can take down a helicopter in just two shots. However, for ground vehicles, you only need to use one rocket. Furthermore, the weapon comes with a special perk that increases the amount of damage if the enemy is below you.
How to get the Into Orbit in Far Cry 6: You need to complete the Liquid Courage treasure hunt located in the Valle De Oro region. Its exact location can be seen below. Completing the Liquid Courage treasure hunt isn’t a difficult task. All you need to do is find a dead body.

At the beginning of the treasure hunt, make your way inside the room and then search for 4 valves. The first one can be found on the right side of the room, and the second one can be found on the left side. The third one, on the other hand, is above the pipes.
You’ll need to go up the stairs and climb onto the pipes to reach it. After you have successfully interacted with these three valves, go to the boiler that is located in the middle of the room. You’ll see three small green lights and the fourth valve will be below them.
The boiler will then explode after you interact with the fourth valve and you’ll see a hole on the roof. Use your grappling hook to reach the top and make your way into the office. Here, you’ll find the dead body along with a secret stash. You can open this stash to acquire the Into Orbit Rocket Launcher.
SPAS 12
Rate of Fire | Damage | Magazine | Handling | Accuracy | Velocity |
240 | 4.5 | 7 | 5.0 | 2.5 | 5.0 |
The last Far Cry 6 hidden weapon worth mentioning is the SPAS 12. I’ve already mentioned this in our Far Cry 6 best weapons location guide that Shotguns are something that can annihilate your enemies in close-range situations. It is easily the most powerful weapon type for close-range combat and nothing can come close to its power. As for SPAS 12, it is one of the best shotguns available in Far Cry 6 that you can get early.
Just like the rest of the shotguns available in the game, the SPAS 12 has a massive damage output and it can take down your enemy in a single shot. The best thing about this weapon is that it can help you get headshots without aiming down the sight. All you need to do is aim towards the upper body and you’ll achieve a headshot most of the time. You can further improve it at the workbench and apply different attachments to it.
How to get SPAS 12 in Far Cry 6: You need to complete the treasure hunt called Passing the Torch. This one is located in El Este and you can find its exact location below. In this treasure hunt, you will need to activate a total of three switches.

The first switch can be found inside the small house located at the top of the hill. You can enter it by destroying the door with a melee attack and the switch will be right in front of you. Then, once you get out, proceed down the hill and you’ll come across another house on the left side. You can enter it by going around it and entering through the window.
Once you’re inside, you’ll be able to see the switch on your left. As for the third and final switch, you’ll again need to go down the hill to the next house on the left side. But to enter this one, you’ll need to go behind it and destroy the wooden panel that will be blocking your way. Crouch your way into the house and you’ll see the switch instantly.
After you have activated all three switches, return to the hut that you came across at the start to activate the main switch. This will open up the secret door and you can then enter it to acquire the SPAS 12 shotgun.
This was all regarding our Far Cry 6 hidden weapons guide. We hope that it will help you find these powerful weapons so you can use them to take back Yara.
