Unlocking fast travel is simple and easy as you will get introduced to it during your “Attend Your First Fay at Hogwarts” part of the early game. Once you leave the common room to interact with Professor Weasley, she will tell you about the Floo Flames along with some of its locations. During the tutorial, you will pretty much understand everything about fast travel as is quite simple.

Using The Floo Flames

If you want to fast travel to a specific location without your magic broom, you need to unlock the Floo Flame of that location first. The flames are the fast-traveling points that appear as sparkling fire, either green or grey. The accessible Floo Flame will turn green on the map, while an inactive Flame will be grey. You can find these flames all across Hogwarts as well as the Highlands.

If you come across a Flame, you can unlock it by simply approaching it and it will turn green, marking its location on the map. Now that you’ve discovered the location, you can travel there whenever you want to.

Once you’ve unlocked the Flames, you can find it on your main map. All you need to do is open the navigation and select the flame location you desire to visit, and you will reach there within no time.

One thing you should keep in mind is that the location of all the Floo Flames is not marked already, and you have to find them during your venture to access them. Some flames are located in obvious spots while some are hidden and in sneaky places.

As you progress through your storyline and explore Hogwarts, you will not have much trouble finding their locations.
