There are four different types of grains one can get in Manor Lords—wheat, flax, barley, and rye.

However, only three of these are available from the start; Rye, on the other hand, can be unlocked from the development tree. The most important grain to have is wheat.

Now, to ensure you never have a shortage of grain, you need to try and keep the fields fertile. What I personally do is keep rotating the type of grain or crop I plant. This ensures that the field is fertile most of the time so that I can make the most of my crops. Furthermore, once the grains are harvested in September, they are then taken to the market to be sold.

Each grain in the game has its own specific use; for instance, wheat is first harvested from the field, then sent to the windmill for flour transformation, and then finally sent to the communal oven, where it is turned into bread.

Barley also has a lengthy process before it is consumed by people. It is first turned into a malt and then sent to an artisan brewery, where it turns into ale. Flax, however, has a quite simple procedure as it is sent to the weaver workshop, where it turns into linen.

And with that, my guide on Grains comes to an end. Here, you were informed about everything related to grains in Manor Lords. Other than that, if you have something to add, you can do so through the comment section down below.
