Remnant 2: How To Solve Lament Dial Puzzle

Apart from the main world and its quests in Remnant 2, there are plenty of side dungeons that players will come across. Of those dungeons is the Remnant 2 Lament Dial Puzzle, for which you will need to make your way out through a number of traps and remember most of the symbols to unlock the last door for reward.

Solving The Lament Dial Puzzle

Since the area is full of traps, I would advise you to be careful while making any move. So, do not be hasty and keep observing your surroundings. As soon as you get past the first set, you will have to crouch, keeping your head low. The area is set up with Lament’s deadly arrows, and to avoid them easily, you just need to crouch.

The Book And The Symbol

As you clear the area full of arrows, you will reach a chamber full of corpses. I’d suggest gnore the corpses for now and look for a ramp where you can see the light beaming. Go down that path where you find a book to read. The book contains relevant lore, but what is more important in the book is perhaps its symbol.

In my experience, the importance of the symbol lies in its shape, as it is the solution to the Remnant 2 Lament Dial Puzzle by matching it to the blanket on the corpses. Since Remnant 2 is highly randomized for each player, you are probably going to get a different symbol.

Corpses

Apart from that, you will need to take a proper look at the first room. Observe the corpses and take note of the ones that have a blue, glowing symbol behind them. Now, to shortlist the symbols, make sure they match the shape of the book’s symbol. If it does not, you can simply ignore it.

As you complete the comparison, go on deeper in the dungeon while taking out any enemy that crosses your path.

From here onwards, here’s the path I would recommend for completing the puzzle’s final phase:

1. Toward the end of the tunnel, you will find a room having more corpses and puzzles.
2. There, you will be surprised to realize that you have been traveling in circles as you look up on the railing and notice the first corpse room below.
3. Moreover, there, you will find a door that will take you back to the very start of the dungeon.
4. Apart from using the door as a shortcut, make sure you note down the symbols on these new corpses just like you did with the first room.
5. As you collect all the symbols, go toward the Dial and put them in any order you like.
6. However, you will need to make sure that the top center contains all four of them.
7. After placing them, do a confirmation so the door can open, giving you access to the Lament Dial Puzzle.

Reward Of The Lament Dial Puzzle

Once the door opens, you will observe a long corridor with a ring and two chests at the very end. The ring that you will find there is no ordinary ring. It will be the Blood Tinged Ring. With the ring, you will be able to regenerate health once you are near a bleeding enemy.

All in all, to complete the Remnant 2 Lament Dial Puzzle, you will have to enter the dungeon. There, you will need to avoid traps and get a book that contains a specific symbol. As you get the book, note down all the symbols of corpses in both rooms, as they will be needed for the Dial. Once you complete the quest, you will get the Blood Tinged Ring and two chests as a reward, with Door Puzzle At Lament in Remnant 2 as the next quest.
