Remnant 2: The Chimney Dungeon [Walkthrough]

The Chimney is a dungeon in Remnant 2 which is hard to come by as there is no set place for it to spawn at. This is one of the key reasons why players find it hard to locate it. However, Remnant 2 The Chimney Dungeon is definitely a place you should explore as there is a quest linked to it. Furthermore, you will also be able to encounter a boss along with a few other challenges, which include some puzzles as well.

The Chimney Location In Remnant 2

Now, as stated before, the Chminey is spawned in a random location in Yaesha. However, there is a high chance that the dungeon will spawn near the Forgotten Grove after you pass the World Stone. Also, the dungeon’s entrance is a giant golden gate, just like the one in the above image, that is hard to miss. Unfortunately, in conclusion, you can only find The Chimney if you explore the World Of Yaesha.

Enemies And Bosses

Furthermore, like any other dungeon, The Chimney will feature a variety of enemies along with a boss. First, you should know that The Chimney is a pan facility run by The Root, meaning that the enemies will also be The Root.

Now, there are a total of 5 types of enemies in The Chimney Dungeon which are as follows:

• Root Zombie
• Root Hulk
• Root Shaman
• Rot Wort
• Stalker

Also, there will be a boss called Rot, which basically is an upgraded and superior version of a Root Hulk. Apart from that, there will also be a time challenge called the Crystal Elevator. The crystal elevator is the primary goal of The Chimney. The Crystal Elevator can also be called a boss.

The Chimney Dungeons’ Walkthrough

Now that you have learned about the bosses and enemies featured in The Chimney, it is time to learn about each and every encounter that will happen in The Chimney.

So here is a step-by-step walkthrough on The Chimney:

1. Once you enter the dungeon, you will have to fight several of the enemies mentioned above. Your goal should be to fight through them and keep moving forward.
2. Later you will reach a place with a giant coffin that can be looted to find the Berserker Crest. This is also where you will encounter, Rot, the boss. You should be able to take out Rot reasonably easily.
3. After that, you will notice a staircase that runs towards a purple crystal, and atop those stairs should be a lever that you should pull to start the time challenge.
4. Now, the goal of the time challenge would be for you to descend the circular stairs before the time runs out while fighting off a bunch of enemies and avoiding the electricity beams.
5. You should beware of the purple crystals along the way, which, when lit up, will electrocute you. You can destroy them or run past them. And you can do the same with the enemies.
6. Next, along the way, you will find some roots or vines blocking your way. To clear these roots, you will have to destroy the red pulsing points at the center of them.
7. Once this is done, you must keep repeating these things until you reach the bottom.
8. At the bottom, you will have to wait and survive until the crystal elevator reaches the bottom.
9. Once the crystal elevator reaches the bottom, it will annihilate all the enemies, and your quest will be completed along with The Chimney Dungeon.
10. Lastly, do not forget to interact with the crystal elevator to claim the Heart Seed, which is the biggest reward of the whole dungeon.

And just like that, you have completed Remnant 2, The Chimney Dungeon. However, what you should do now is take your Heart Seed and craft it into the Soulbinder Weapon Mod, which is the real reward of completing this dungeon.

Crafting The Soulbinder Weapon Mod From The Heart Seed

Now that you have acquired the Heart Seed, you should go to Ward 13 and talk to McCabe, as she will now offer to craft a new weapon mod for you, which is the Soulbinder mod.

To make this mod, you will require the following items:

• 1 x Heart Seed
• 5 x Lumenite Crystals
• 650 x Scrap

The Soulbinder Mod’s ability is as the following;

• “Fires a projectile that attaches to the enemy dealing 40 damage. Enemies within 7m become bound to the primary target after impact and share 60% of the damage dealt to them. Lasts 15s.”
