Diablo 4: Sorcerer Paragon Board & Glyphs [Explained]

Sorcerer Paragon Boards in Diablo 4 are a new type of leveling system that allow your Sorcerer to go past his former power cap.

Diablo 4 has been leading the charts for a hot while now. It is only natural for it to get regular content updates based on that success. This Sorcerer Paragon Board guide will cover some of the most recent content added to Diablo 4 for all the different classes.

Key Takeaways
  • Paragon Boards are a new level system recently added in Diablo 4.
  • They allow you to increase your character’s power even after the max level cap.
  • You need to be at least level 50 to access these boards.
  • Each class has a different type of board with its own Glyphs and Runes.
  • You can use at most 1 Glyph for a build.
  • Magic Glyphs are mostly class-specific, but some overlap in some classes.

What Are Paragon Boards?

Paragon Boards are a new game system added in Diablo 4 that introduces a lot of unique content for players to enjoy. Simply put, Paragon Boards are additional levels you can add to your character once you max out the base experience level.

Therefore, you do need to be at least level 50 to unlock these boards for your character. My guide will only focus on the Paragon Boards for the Sorcerer class. However, these boards are available for every class currently in Diablo 4.

The Class Board for each class will always have the following configuration that I have mentioned below:

  • You will have access to 1 Gylph Socket.
  • 1 Legendary Node.
  • 6 Rare Nodes.
  • 30 Magic nodes
  • A variable amount of Normal nodes that will give you flat stat increases (+5).
  • Lastly, four possible Board Attachment Gates to start with.

What Are Glyphs?

Simply put, Glyphs are special items that you can fit into your Paragon Board for additional stats. They are items that are obtained like normal loot; from bosses or dungeons. Based on my experience, you can fit at most one Glyph on your board, but normally, you will use 3-4, depending on the situation you’re in. There are two types of Glyphs, Magic and Rare.

The Sorcerer Paragon Board

Now that you know what a Paragon Board is, it’s time to see what the Sorcerer Paragon Board has to offer. You can mix and match various glyphs based on your playstyle. I will discuss some of the popular builds in the section that follows.

The general rule of thumb is to go for Rare Glyphs. Unlike some of the other class Glyphs, the Sorcerer class Glyphs are already considered high-tier, which, in turn, means that it is significantly more difficult to obtain them as loot.

Rare Glyphs

The first of the two types of runes up for discussion are the Rare Glyphs. Rare runes are better in terms of power and stats and boost more area on your board. Despite the name, they aren’t that rare, so you’ll likely have more than you know what to do with.

The Rare Glyphs I explored for you as a sorcerer are listed as follows:
