Warhammer 40K Darktide: How Create A Private Lobby

Learn how to set up a private lobby or a private match to play with your friends in Warhammer 40K: Darktide.

Many players are looking to play a solo match or play in a private lobby in Warhammer 40K Darktide with their friends. While in the recent patch update, there have been a lot of new features added, like new maps and target stability, the most awaited feature is definitely to set up a private match in the game.

Key Takeaways
  • The private lobby is a new feature in Warhammer 40K: Darktide introduced in the recent patch update.
  • Players can enter the private match by pressing P when in the mission terminal.
  • They will be able to play with two to four players in a private match.

How To Set Up A Match In A Private Lobby

Players have been requesting the feature of a private lobby and solo match for ages. Thankfully, the developers heard the requests, and in a recent patch update of 1.0.20, there are many fixes introduced for different bugs in the game and the ability to set up a private match.

Furthermore, there is a new map for the players to play in and some new weapons and upgrades. Players can also set up private matches that can hold up to two to four players in the game.

To start a private match on the game, all you have to do is spawn into the Morningstar and head straight from there. After that, you need to make your way into the Mission Terminal and press P when inside.

Doing so will allow you to set up a private match instead of a public match. In case you want to set up a public match, you just need to press P again. You won’t be able to play solo because it is not available as of now in Warhammer 40K Dark tide.

Can You Play A Solo Match?

As of now, there is no such feature that will allow you to play a Solo Match with just bots. However, it is expected that the feature will be added sometime later in the game.

Lots of players have requested the developers of the game for dedicated servers that will just hold solo and private matches with their friends.

Since the game is still pretty new, there are a handful of features missing. The private matches will only allow two to four players to join without any other random players joining in the game.

While it might not be the most useful feature of the game, it is still pretty good if you are looking to farm with your friends for different challenges and unlock perks in the game.
