Warhammer 40K Darktide recently came out with a patch update as of 15th December that followed the release of two new weapons alongside a few other changes being brought to the game. Recent Update 

A few days ago, Fatshark Forums ended up sending out a recent community update, precisely the fifth update, and they talked about many important changes that would be coming to the game shortly. 

The main thing that they talked about in the start was simply about the support that they had gotten from the player’s end, and how their main aim would always be to make the game as better as possible to create an even more of a positive experience for the entire Warhammer player base. 

The update was set out to release on the 14th, but it was pushed back a day and just released on the 15th of December. 

Power Maul Weapon

Ogryn Class 

Let’s talk a little about the class that the weapon is tailor-made for. The ogryn class is going to also be known as skullbreakers and they don’t let their name go stale, since Skullbjreaker is exactly what the Ogryn is. 

They are able to go head-first into any battle that they encoutner and will be the first ones to carelessly go into a battle, not knowing what lies ahead of them. It doesn’t matter whether they live or die, all Ogryns want to do is murder enemies and get as many fights in as possible. 

Ogryns are also known to be extremely strong, and they are almost also known to be on the defensive side as well, but their damage really won’t lack no matter what, therefore players that aim to play as an Ogryn will be glad to know that they don’t really sacrifice any damage output in return of being strong. 

Apart from that, Ogryns will also be to intake excessive damage from the enemy’s end without needing to worry way too much about having their HPs drained. All in all, the Ogryn class is definitely one that players should try out. 

Feats 

Feats: At various levels, Ogryns gain feats that enhance their combat capabilities. Here are some notable feats:

Level 5:

1. Best Form Of Defense: Hitting multiple opponents with a heavy melee attack restores 20% toughness.
2. Smash Em Good: Hitting a single enemy with a heavy melee attack restores 20% toughness.
3. Lynchpin: In combat or when alone, gain 100% toughness replenishment.

Level 10:

1. Blood And Thunder: Each heavy melee hit against an enemy adds an extra bleed stack.
2. Heavyweight: Gain 50% extra melee damage against specific enemy types and 50% damage negation.
3. Bombs Away: Attacking certain enemy types with your “Big Box of Hurt” opens grenades to attack the enemy.

Level 15:

1. Towering Presence: Increase coherency radius by 50% in combat.
2. Bullfighter: Successfully taking out an elite enemy while alone or in coherency increases Bullrush cooldown by 10%.
3. Lead The Charge: Allies in coherency have their movement speed enhanced by 25% for 4 seconds when Bull Rush is activated.

Level 20:

1. Bloodthirst: Deal 10% more damage resistance for each bleeding opponent in melee combat.
2. Die Hard: When health drops below 25%, gain 100% toughness replenishment.
3. Hard As Nails: Reduce damage taken by 25% for each incapacitated or knocked-down enemy in combat.

Level 25:

1. Raging Bull: Initial attacks increase the next melee attack’s damage by 5%.
2. Knife Through Butter: Fully charged heavy attacks.
3. Payback Time: Deal 20% extra damage against opponents who have damaged you.

Level 30:

1. Bull Gore: Hit opponents with Bull Rush to apply 2 additional bleed stacks.
2. Non-Stop Violence: Regain 10% toughness for each Bull Rush hit against enemies.
3. Unstoppable: Increase Bull Rush’s travel distance by 100%.

Talents:

• Main Ability – Bull Rush: Charge toward enemies, causing severe knockback and gaining 25% attack speed and 25% movement speed for 5 seconds.
• Aura – Intimidating Presence: Increase heavy melee attack damage by 10% against opponents.
• Blitz – Big Box of Hurt: Launch a box of grenades toward enemies, dealing high damage.
• Iconic Skills:
  • Excessive Force: Increase melee stagger against enemies by 25%.
  • Loyal Protector: While reviving or helping allies, you won’t be interrupted by enemy attacks.
  • Thick Skin: Increase toughness damage negation by 20% and health damage negation by 20%.
