Armored Core 6 is among the highly awaited titles of this year and will arrive in a mere few weeks. Yet, some lucky fans can play the octane-inducing gameplay ahead of time in an upcoming preview. FromSoftware has recently revealed a new opportunity for anticipating gamers to attend a new preview event in Japan, alongside another event for the lucky winners.

As stated on the official Armored Core 6 website, the trial play event will be held across different stores per a specific schedule. The PlayStation 5 version of the game will be available for gamers, and those who try out the game will also receive an exclusive novelty set. The trial play bonuses include a sticker set and a reversible poster of B2 size. The trial events will last from July 29 to August 20 across many listed local game retailers in Japan.

Many factors are subject to change, as mentioned by FromSoftware in the details. For instance, the schedule and content can change anytime if required, and Armored Core 6 can only be played by each player for 15 minutes in the trial event. The limited numbered tickets will be distributed at each store from the opening time and are a must to have. And lastly, only one set of special benefits will be given out per person.

Moreover, a special event will be held by Sony dubbed “PlayStation Presents PLAY! PLAY! PLAY! ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON SPECIAL BRIEFING” on Friday, August 18. Forty people will be chosen via lottery and invited to enjoy the first thirty minutes of the game, as well as an exhibition booth, photo spot, talk session, and more, all without paying a single yen.

The stage event will be live-streamed in a talk show on the official PlayStation YouTube channel for the global audience. While the time zone is not clear, the timing provided for the live stream is Friday, August 18, 2023, from 19:30 to 20:10. Anyone interested in participating in the event can apply in the application form here.

Armored Core 6 has had preview presentations that revealed plenty of gameplay and details to satiate our hunger. For instance, the combat and movement system is fluid and fast-paced. The title also features amazing attention to detail in the environment, including an immersive level of verticality to allow players to soar the skies while engaging in fast-paced combat.

It is worth noting that the game is not open-world since the devs did not want it to resemble Elden Ring. But, it undoubtedly retains the olden series formula that made it a unique and indelible experience in the first place. The Armored Core 6 launches on August 25 on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and PC. The pre-release install for Xbox is already available.
