Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Wrath of the Druids Promotional Screenshots Leaked Online

Visuals look formidable

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has sold better figures than any other game of the franchise. It is the twelfth mainline installment in the series and has brought forth some compelling Viking action to the table. However, as far as its DLC is concerned, Valhalla is yet to receive its first major expansion: Wrath of the Druids.

In Ubisoft’s blog post, the developer cast a lens on what players can expect from the upcoming campaign expansion DLC. It seems that a venture towards Ireland is underway in Wrath of the Druids, where players will get to uncover the Gaelic folklore while investigating deep within their land. Sensational schematics and beautiful landscapes await the players in this DLC.

Its initial release was scheduled to happen on April 14th, 2021, but that bright prospect couldn’t see the light of day. Ubisoft took to Twitter to announce that the DLC would arrive on May 13 instead and that they’re working on an article that discusses the dev process transparently.

While that was the end of official word regarding Wrath of the Druids from the developer, we’ve stumbled upon a leak that shows glimpses of the world we’re about to set foot in.

Twitter user Aggiornamenti Lumia has leaked a bunch of promotional screenshots from the anticipated Valhalla DLC and they sure look stunning. This was first spotted by Redditor OnkelJupp. Take a look below.

A larger force is at play here as the story continues. The setting of Wrath of the Druids looks strongly mysterious.

Apparently, werewolves will be among the new enemy types. Only time will tell what’s more to come in the DLC.
