The info was taken from the PlayStation Store.

Assassin’s Creed leaks have recently become an everyday phenomenon. More substantial info has trickled into the gaming community as the official announcement of the upcoming installment draws closer.

A week ago, it was ultimately confirmed by multiple insiders that Assassin’s Creed’s upcoming installment is dubbed Mirage and will indeed take place in Baghdad.

Since then, a bundle of particulars has seeped into the gaming community. Some of the worthwhile leaks include the game returning to its successful roots, details regarding the protagonist, and the city layout, among many others.

A notable industry insider, Tom Henderson, has unveiled the official description of the anticipated Assassin’s Creed Mirage. The official description begins by discussing the protagonist and the stellar setting.

It states: “Experience the story of Basim, a cunning street thief seeking answers and justice as he navigates the bustling streets of ninth-century Baghdad.”

It continues by talking about the well-renowned ancient organization and how it will influence Basim’s voyage, “Through a mysterious, ancient organization known as the Hidden Ones, he will become a deadly Master Assassin and change his fate in ways he never could have imagined.

With the modern allure, the game is reportedly returning to its highly successful roots that fans have demanded for a long time. “Experience a modern take on the iconic features and gameplay that have defined a franchise for 15 years. Parkour seamlessly through the city and stealthily take down targets with more visceral assassinations than ever before.”

Explore an incredibly dense and vibrant city whose inhabitants react to your every move, and uncover the secrets of four unique districts as you venture through the Golden Age of Baghdad.” The last paragraph of the detailed description affirms that having the PlayStation 4 version will let gamers play the PlayStation 5 version at no additional price.

It elaborates: “If you already own the PS4™ version of this game, you can get the PS5™ digital version at no extra cost, and you do not need to purchase this product. Owners of a PS4™ disc copy must insert it into the PS5™ every time they want to download or play the PS5™ digital version.”

It continues, “PS4™ game disc owners who buy the PS5™ Digital Edition disc-free console will not be able to get the PS5™ version at no extra cost.” The official description was supposedly extracted from the PlayStation Store.

However, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is not the only title Ubisoft will reveal. Ubisoft is evidently going to reveal several new Assassin’s Creed projects at the upcoming Ubisoft Forward event, as previously affirmed by Tom Henderson. That event will take place this weekend, September 10th, 2022.

Three projects are reportedly going to be revealed on the Ubisoft Forward Event. One of the titles is the anticipated Assassin’s Creed Mirage. The other two are Assassin’s Creed Project Red and Assassin’s Creed Project Hexe; the names are prone to change.

Project Red is rumored to take place in Japan, while Project Hexe is slated amid the dark ages of the 16th-century Europe region.
