Devs Expect Assetto Corsa 2 To Release After Fiscal Year 2024

As spotted by video games industry analyst @MauroNL3 on Twitter, the publishers of Assetto Corsa 2 are expecting it to be released after fiscal year 2024. The tidbit was mentioned in a new financial report by Digital Bros, which clarified that “the new releases are expected to be launched well ahead of the fiscal year-end.” There were no mentions of the sequel among the games that are planned to launch before the fiscal year ends.

The sequel has been delayed a slew of times already since its reveal. It was initially slated for a spring 2024 arrival before being pushed into the summer 2024 release window. The financial report also confirms that we can expect a release after June 30, 2024, when the next fiscal year commences for the publisher. On the flip side, Crime Boss: Rockay City will come out on Steam in June 2024 after initially releasing on EGS as an exclusive.

Assetto Corsa has dominated the racing simulation genre for a decade since its launch. It is full of realism, with an advanced physics engine, authentic tracks, exclusive cars, great mod support, and more. Therefore, it has a bit of everything for those who enjoy racing simulators.
