Bethesda‘s upcoming Indiana Jones title, developed by MachineGames, might be titled “The Great Circle.” As discovered by @Kurakasis on X (formerly known as Twitter), Lucasfilm registered several domains on January 9, 2024, with the reported title. Furthermore, one of those names clearly states it is a game thereby removing doubts that it can be related to something else. Interestingly, the teaser also showed a book titled “Ancient Circle.”

Moving on, Lucasfilm also filed a trademark for “The Great Circle” back in the summer of 2022, mentioning goods and services for video games. Additionally, the information included ‘mobile’ as well. According to Kurakasis, this may be because games can now be played on phones via streaming services or due to legal reasons. They also state that CDPR‘s Cyberpunk 2077 also listed ‘mobile’ in trademark information as well.
Bethesda’s Indiana Jones game was first announced in 2021, months before Microsoft finalized its deal to acquire ZeniMax Media for $7.5 billion. Last year, it was confirmed that the title would be exclusive for Xbox and PC during the FTC vs. Microsoft case surrounding the acquisition of Activision–Blizzard.
