Counter-Strike 2 had a rather controversial launch in the eyes of many of its fans. Players thought they were given the short end of the stick as the game was actually missing certain features from its predecessor. Our own review called it a game that undermines Valve’s near-flawless reputation over the years, with a verdict stating, “Counter-Strike 2 steps boldly onto the competitive scene, but undercooked features and performance issues hold it back from true greatness.
