Recently, Halo has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons. It has been a mess, from Microsoft layoffs affecting developer 343 Industries to rumors stating that the studio will step back from the franchise. Even though the developer confirmed it will keep working on Halo, things are not the same.

Following layoffs, 343 Industries is undergoing a major shakeup and scrapping story content for Halo Infinite. The studio is also switching to Unreal Engine after a debate lasting almost a decade and already putting more focus on future projects.

So, the 2021 title has basically been left behind after promises of it being a project encompassing 10 years.

Add the criticism of Halo Infinite’s multiplayer to this, and you can understand how bad its position is. But, during all of this controversy and uncertainty, one thing has kept the Halo brand relevant for good reasons. That thins is the Forge mode in Halo Infinite, which has brought us some marvelous constructions since its release.

Players have created new boss fights, a Mario 64-inspired map, and a Silent Hill PT map in the map editor. Now, we have one more addition to this list of imaginative recreations in the Halo Infinite Forge. Someone recently made their college dorm room in the Halo game mode.

Art Noob on Twitter is responsible for creating this innovative map which he uploaded to his YouTube channel. You can see the map clearly in the video below from iSpiteful, and it is truly amazing. In the video, we get a tour of this super-realistic college dorm.

The room resembles a typical college dorm to a tee, with a bed, a bathroom, and a study desk in a small room. We can see the Xbox Series X and the Xbox One attached to a PC monitor. A Xbox 360 is also present under the table, along with a controller and a high-end CPU.

Other Xbox memorabilia includes a refrigerator, dozens of boxed discs, and a Halo Infinite display on a small TV under the bed. Everything is done to perfection, and the dorm looks like a part of a thorough AAA project. The detail on objects showcases the talent of the player and the capability of the Halo Infinite Forge.

We go through the walls and see their inside after checking out the bathroom. It is neatly done and lends further credence to the ingenious creation of this dorm room. The level of detail alone makes it one of the best Halo Infinite Forge maps.

More than a year after launch, the Forge mode keeps surprising us with its stunning in-game maps. Hopefully, we get to see more of them as time passes by. Which Halo Infinite Forge map is your favorite? Tell us in the comments below.
