Halo Infinite Multiplayer Release Date Changed Again

Halo Infinite's multiplayer won't be releasing on Monday now, it seems.

Earlier today, rumours regarding Halo Infinite’s free-to-play multiplayer being released on Monday started broadcasting online after mined Xbox Games Store data revealed the game’s release date to be 15th November — the same date as the upcoming Xbox Anniversary Celebration event. Furthermore, the news had also been confirmed by an industry insider that discusses Nintendo Switch rumours often, Nate the Hate, on Twitter, after which it really started getting attention from players.

While the news did excite many players, unfortunately, it has been deflated now. Earlier today, Aggiornamenti Lumia, in response to a tweet showcasing the data mined Xbox Games Store listing for Halo Infinite multiplayer’s release on 15th November, posted a screenshot of the updated data for the listing, which suggests that the game won’t be releasing anytime before 8th December.

Earlier today, HaloHub, in an article, revealed that servers for the Halo Infinite multiplayer are now online and the awaited “Fracture” event is scheduled to start on 23rd November, with the first Season of the game going live on 15th November. With Nate the Hate further confirming this rumour, the news started trending all over forums. However, that seems to no longer be the case now.

In August, it was revealed that the game would be releasing on 8th December and it seems like it’ll stay that way. Of course, this isn’t any confirmation and the date can change. However, for now, Halo Infinite’s multiplayer is scheduled for the same release date as before. Furthermore, both Microsoft Corporation and 343 Industries have been strangely quiet about the rumours or release date, so we can still expect a surprise from the company but it seems less likely now.
