Enshrouded Climbs Over A Million Players In Only Four Days After Release

Despite many awaited AAA projects on everyone’s radar, Enshrouded has already emerged among the most popular releases this year. However, no one expected how glamour it’d gather during the first few days of launch. The devs behind the project have taken to Twitter to express that it has gained over one million players. It is a significant feat because the title has only been out in early access for four days.

The heartfelt message shared by the studio also reflects the game’s “overwhelmingly positive reception.” The Valheim-like RPG quickly spread to the wider gaming scene by word of mouth, causing the player count to rise to the moon. Keen Games further iterated that the title is just getting started; a lot is planned for the future.

The active player count is a great outlook to further elaborate on the success of Enshrouded. It has been roughly averaging, with concurrent players falling between 50,000 to 100,000. The title also hit an all-time peak of 160,405 players two days after the early access release. Popular streamers and YouTubers have also caused the game to gain an influx of new players after it came out.
