Another marvelous addition to fans boasting their creativity in Forge.

Story Highlights

  • Some Halo fans have created a 2v2 museum map in Halo Infinite Forge.
  • The map features an “evildoer’s” museum well-decorated with artifacts.
  • A Twitter user has shared a walkthrough video for the map.

Some fans, using an artistic approach, have created a lavish 2v2 museum map in Halo Infinite Forge. Halo’s fanbase has kept the game alive for over two decades, never stopping keeping up the game’s legacy. From digging up the cut content to creating brand-new maps, Halo’s fans keep the community entertained.

Halo Infinite Forge has been proven as a winning move by the creators since this in-game software lets you test your creativity with map creations in Halo. Fans can create maps of their own type, incorporate movies and TV shows within Halo games or collaborate Halo with their favorite retro titles.

With that being said, this new 2v2 slayer in Halo Infinite shows some fine creativity by the creators. The map is called “Scion” and is created in a museum. According to the map’s description on the website, this will be a private museum owned by an evildoer.

Twitter user and Halo enthusiast Rebs Gaming boosted the map on their platform and shared a walkthrough video within the museum. The map’s art is done by @CertifiedChmp, and the layout creators are @Prod1204 and @SSlaphead. As you walk through the museum, you’ll see preserved whale bones, and for that, the credit goes to @DWeaponxx.

Judging from the walkthrough video, this map has been created using a highly artistic approach. We can see spacious halls and lavish interiors, plus the massive whale bones and guns decored in showcases as artifacts. The map can be bookmarked here.

There have been quite some awesome additions to Halo Infinite Forge, including a recreation of prison from “The Platform” movie in Halo Infinite’s Forge mode.

Not just stopping there, the Megaton map From Fallout 3 has also been created for Halo Infinite using Forge. The built of houses on the map created in Halo give the feel of the original Fallout map as well, as they seem to be built with scavenged materials.

And the Halo version of the map even has an atomic bomb in the center of the city. Furthermore, while gamers are always looking for ways to relive nostalgia connected with retro games, two fans recreated the nostalgic DK Mountain map from Mario Kart in Halo Infinite.

The DK Mountain track features the same course as in Mario Kart, renewed with Halo’s shooting genre. The Halo community almost never stops. Digging up the cut content is one thing, but then recreating it in the modern version of the game is another and is super commendable.

A fan recreated the deleted Halo map “Anchor Point” in Halo Infinite Forge. This Halo 2 map was discarded by Bungie after a week’s development. Recently an early build of Halo 3 dubbed “Pimps At Sea” was leaked online, exposing some brilliant features from the canceled build, including a leaning feature.

This build was also called the earliest prototype from Halo. Moreover, with the latest layoffs within Microsoft, Halo Infinite creator studio 343 Industries was reportedly largely influenced.

Halo Infinite Creative Director Joseph Staten departed from 343 Industries leading to the studio head stating they’ve been “hit hard” by the layoffs. However, later, 343 Industries assured their fans that they’ll continue working on Halo now and in the future as well.

Later on, the Xbox CEO, Phil Spencer also stated in an interview that 343 Industries is all geared up with plans for the future.
