Fate/Grand Order Achieves Monumental Global Revenue Milestone Of $7 Billion

Fate/Grand Order, one of the many popular gacha games on mobile, has grossed an impressive milestone of $7 billion globally from July 2015 to August 15, 2023, based on a report from SensorTower. Both the Japanese and English versions of FGO recently celebrated their 8th and 6th anniversary respectively and with over 50 million downloads globally, it is no surprise that the game managed to stack up these large numbers.

For those of you who are not familiar with Fate/Grand Order, the game was initially developed by Delightworks and afterward, shifted to Lasengle. In terms of gameplay, players engage in strategic turn-based battles as they assume the role of a Master who summons and controls familiars called Servants to confront adversaries. Its deep storyline unfolds through a visual novel presentation, with each Servant offering a unique scenario for players to dive into.

As with any gacha game, the Summoning Campaign is used to acquire Servants by using Saint Quartz. Banners with new Servants are updated frequently to maintain consistency. Also, Friend Points can be used as a nice alternative in case players run out of Saint Quartz.
