With Final Fantasy XVI on the way, players of the series are more excited than ever for every tidbit they can gather regarding the endeavors of SQUARE ENIX. The goliath company has stated that it plans to release various new titles this year, primarily targeting its profitable franchises.

Similarly, the second part of the Final Fantasy VII Remake is highly anticipated and closer to release than ever before. The director behind Final Fantasy VII Remake, Tetsuya Nomura, has stated in a recent live stream that new information regarding the alluring title will be revealed next month.

The director has alleged in the past that he would like to share details regarding the sequel. June’s announcement could likely highlight particulars concerning the highly anticipated Final Fantasy VII Remake. However, Tetsuya Nomura didn’t jump into any details on what exactly they were going to reveal.

In the past, Yoshinori Kitase, speaking amid an anniversary event held to commemorate Final Fantasy VII’s 25th anniversary in Japan back in January, cited his volition to unearth the first details on its remake sequel during the anniversary celebration.

He stated, “We are strongly at work on Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis, so please look ahead to that. Moreover, concerns about the long-awaited Final Fantasy VII Remake [Part 2]… there will be more details… this year if we can.”

SQUARE ENIX newly started a Final Fantasy 35th anniversary website, which has thrilling news of upcoming titles from the company. The website states, “In this 35th anniversary year, we will be bringing you many exciting new ways to enjoy the worlds of Final Fantasy.”
