Helldivers 2 Update v1.000.10 Lowers Extraction Missions Difficulty And More

The game’s latest patch, v1.000.10, has brought plenty of bug fixes and matchmaking improvements.
The third-person shooter is currently making waves across the industry for its fun gameplay.

Helldivers 2 is a new third-person shooter by Arrowhead Game Studios and a sequel to the first Helldivers from 2015. The title, although sending shockwaves across the industry for its incredibly well-made gameplay, is currently marred with matchmaking issues, and troubles of the sort. Making amends on that front, Arrowhead has rolled out a new update that makes finding matches a bit easier, along with other changes to the title.

One of the most prominent changes that I could spot that I know a lot of people are going to be happy with is civilian extraction missions no longer boasting hellish difficulty. Combine that with improvements on the matchmaking front, and you’ve got a solid new update in the name of patch 1.000.10 for Helldivers 2 this time around. Here are some of the notes highlighted in the aforementioned Reddit post:

Fixed crash when replicating ragdoll momentum.
Fixed crash when replicating destructions.
Fixed crash when displaying the mission end rewards.
Resolved a 100% block issue for quickplay matchmaking on PC
Improvements to our client > backend communication for better backend performance.
Implemented an automatic retry mechanism to quickplay.
Added proper login error message for error “10002038.”

On a side note, everyone seems to be struggling to get into a Helldivers 2 season, myself included. I guess that’s what happens when you, as a developer, go ahead and make a good game, despite the controversy surrounding the topic of live service, which may corporations have pretty much abused at this point. Even Arrowhead’s CEO Johan Pilestedt recently advised those on a budget to wait until the servers are fixed before buying the shooter. You don’t see that every day.
