Poppy Playtime Devs Are Working On Multiple Unannounced AAA Horror Games

The studio behind Poppy Playtime, Mob Entertainment, is seemingly working on multiple AAA horror titles. The info was found via multiple job listings published on the studio’s career page. The listing for Senior Narrative Director states these titles will have various “locations, characters, factions, quests, and plots.” Additionally, we can expect detailed backstories and plots since they appear to be taking place in the Poppy Playtime universe.

Mob Entertainment is looking for a Senior Narrative Director to join the development of AAA titles and for movie and animation projects. Feed your creativity while collaborating with our team of highly-skilled developers to build something innovative, exhilarating, and expansively entertaining!” reads the listing for Senior Narrative Director.

As per the ad for Technical UI Designer, the devs are also using Unreal Engine to work on these unannounced projects. It is worth noting the team is also hiring devs to work on its animation and movie projects, but the exact number is still unknown. 

The Poppy Playtime Series May Become The Modern FNAF As We Know It

Despite gameplay differences, I remember when FNAF dominated YouTube like no other horror title. Seeing the semblance of that in Poppy Playtime has been quite nostalgic. It’s worth noting this relatively new horror franchise has also made its presence known in the horror genre.
