In the case of Helldivers 2, the decision to make a PSN account mandatory to play the game had been recanted by Sony. However, the game is still unavailable to purchase in countries where you can’t create a PSN account. While it was revealed that Ghost of Tsushima will only require a PSN account for multiplayer gameplay, the recent development shows that Sony has other plans, but no official announcement has been made regarding the situation.
