Things are heating up as Tekken 8’s official release is drawing closer. The legendary fighting game franchise is back with yet another iteration in the series, a whopping 8 years after the launch of its predecessor. Bandai Namco, the developer, has released its new trailer, and this time, it’s focused on expanding the story aspect of the forthcoming title, where all-out war is observed and then some.
From what I can tell, Tekken 8 could likely put forth the culmination of the Jin vs Kazuya saga, though it’s unclear whether players will be able to pick a side in the Story Mode when the full game actually drops. Apart from the front-runners, Some of the characters shown in the trailer include Lars, Lee Chaolan, Paul Phoenix, Azuenca, Law, Feng, Dragunov, and others, where one half backs up Jin and the rest, G-Corp.
On a side note, this isn’t the only trailer that Bandai has pushed out in recent times. The devs have also released another video in recent times, showing off Tekken 8’s Yoshimitsu—a fan-favorite character who happens to be part of the Tekken franchise since the very beginning. Yoshi has received a highly revised, modern look, and of course, brand-new moves for the players who main him.
