Tekken 8 Director, Katsuhiro Harada, asked the fans on Twitter/X about the stages from past Tekken games they would like to see in Tekken 8. The director mentioned that it takes an enormous amount of money and time to build a battle stage, and they would like to listen to everyone’s requests to select the stages to remake it for Tekken 8 carefully.

The Twitter/X user @_BeyondUltra had asked Harada if they could get reimagined designs of the original Tekken 1 stages to be added to the game as DLC. In response, Harada retweeted the original post, asking the fans for their recommendations about stages from old Tekken games. At the time of writing, the post has had about 450k+ views and 1.3k+ replies.

A fan replied that they loved the SkyRing stage from Tekken 3, which used to be King’s main stage in the game. Another fan asked for the Moonlit Wilderness stage from Tekken 5, a beautiful battle stage that would look astounding if it does end up getting reimagined for Tekken 8. Personally, I would love to see the Fallen Colony stage from Tekken 6 get a remake.
It has been a while since Bandai Namco‘s Tekken 8 launched on January 26 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X. eXputer has rated the game 5/5, praising the mechanics and narrative of the fighting game. Recently, it was revealed that Tekken 8 had sold over 2 million copies, and, judging from the game’s popularity, that number is bound to grow with time.
