Tekken 8 Demo Coming To PS5 On December 14; Steam And Xbox On December 21

Tekken 8 Demo is coming to PlayStation 5 on December 14. The Xbox Series and Steam users will be able to download and play the demo starting December 21. The demo will feature the first chapter of Tekken 8’s story and local versus fighting mode. Tekken’s official Twitter/X page made the announcement. Additionally, the final preview of Tekken 8 is also out now.

Tekken 8 Demo will feature offline vs. mode, as well as a peak into the game’s story. Tekken 8’s final preview was also posted on IGN’s YouTube Channel, providing an exciting glimpse into the game’s combat, story, and different game modes, as well as many gameplay features.

Previously, Bandai Namco hosted a closed network test in June and then a closed beta test, which was held in October. Players were able to take part in these tests to try the game out for themselves. Additionally, the 3D-fighting game was also available to play on official tournament venues, such as EVO 2023. Those who haven’t had a chance to play Tekken 8 yet will now be able to play the demo without any issues.

The highly anticipated fighting game is set to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PC on January 26, 2024. It is a prequel to Tekken 7, which was released over a decade ago and was the most successful entry of the franchise yet. Tekken 8 aims to surpass the hype and popularity of its predecessor and introduces many new features and mechanics that haven’t been seen before in the fighting game franchise.
