Digimon Survive Release Date Leaked From V-Jump Issue

After countless delays, the tactical RPG is finally coming out on Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch in a couple of months.

Digimon Universe is filled with fragments of nostalgia that most of us experienced growing up. Digimon games have played a significant role in making the Digimon universe immersive throughout the decennia. BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment has released a bundle of successful titles for various consoles over the decades. Digimon Survive was announced in 2018 and was supposed to come out in 2019; players have awaited the new title ever since. However, the wait is finally coming to a close after uncountable delays and broken promises.

The tactical RPG went through many struggles during the brewing process, and the recent world events also halted its development. Digimon Survive got rated in Brazil 7 months ago, which served as a hint that the title was finally in the final phases of development. Recently, according to a leak from a V-jump issue, it has been found that Digimon Survive is set to release on July 28th, 2022. The release date has been extended considerably, but at least we have a concrete release date to satiate our craving. The industry insider responsible for the release date leaks V-jump issues every month, according to the rumors. The V-jump is a Japanese shōnen manga magazine, covering new mangas as well as video games based on popular mangas.

The leak only mentions the release date for the Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch versions. The game’s graphics have been allegedly enhanced, and the GUI has also gone through improvements. However, there have been no noticeable changes to the system. Digimon Survive will cost ¥6980 in Japan, which is almost $54

Digimon Survive has been surrounded by anticipation and hype ever since it was announced, so it’s exhilarating that the game is finally coming out. Digimon Survive was previously planned for a 2019 release, but the game was shelved away for 2020 before the delay to 2021. Toei Animation ultimately noted that the title would be released either in the fiscal Q3 2022 or after.
