During the earnings call on Friday, CEO of Take-Two Strauss Zelnick said the GTA 6 pre-orders have been “exceptional” but didn’t disclose any figures.

I can say that the level of pre-orders is unprecedented and astonishing, and we’re very grateful for that.

He also mentioned that Rockstar nailed the standard and deluxe edition pricing and defined them as one of the primary reasons behind the pre-orders.

I think that Rockstar got it right in terms of the pricing of this standard edition and the pricing of the deluxe edition, and I think there’s no doubt that consumers are really excited about both

GTA 6 is currently available for $79.99 and $99.99 for the standard and ultimate editions, respectively.

Take-Two Has Generated $1.39 Billion In Sales During Its First Quarter

The $1.39 billion figure primarily comes from “NBA 2k” and “GTA” franchises, according to Take-Two. Strauss said in a letter to its shareholders:

“Our excellent first quarter results reflect the power of our portfolio and disciplined execution across all of our labels,”

He also expects to generate a new level of scale and stronger cash flow with the launch of GTA 6.

GTA 6 launches on November 19th, 2026, for PS5 and Xbox Series S|X.
