At first glance, the new PS5 V2 DualSense model resembles the current lineup completely, making it difficult to recognize any changes unless carefully observed. Besides the name, the model also tackles the dreaded battery life issue that has lingered in these power-hungry controllers for a long time. A generic DualSense can give you a battery life lasting from 4 to 12 hours, with most sessions requiring a charge somewhere around six hours.

Take the gaming action into your own hands when you play with the PlayStation 5 V2 DualSense wireless controller. With dynamic triggers, a built-in microphone and so much more, this gaming controller offers a truly immersive experience. The iconic comfortable design lets you play for hours and hours,” reads the description on the page.

However, the upgraded variant can give a charge of up to 12 hours, as touted on the leaked page. The size difference for the controller is also listed. It is larger than current DualSense controllers while retaining the same 280g weight. The V2 variant also possibly improves upon the built-in microphone and other similar features. The controller costs the same as the current Dualsense model, costing 89.99 Canadian dollars on the listing for now.
