Leak Reveals Tekken Force Mode Is Back In Tekken 8

Several leaked images of Tekken 8’s gameplay have surfaced online on social media. The images show what appears to be the Tekken Force game mode and were shared online shortly after Tekken 8’s CBT was made available to download on Steam. Note that Bandai Namco has not made any announcements regarding the Tekken Force mode’s return.

The Tekken Force game mode last appeared in Tekken 4 and was later reintroduced in Tekken 5 as the Devil Within mini-game and then in Tekken 6 as Scenario Campaign. For now, it is unclear if the leaked images are of a separate game mode in Tekken 8 or are part of the story campaign like it was in Tekken 6.

Earlier, Bandai Namco announced that Tekken Ball mode would make its return in Tekken 8. Tekken Ball mode was another fun gameplay mode that was introduced in Tekken 3 alongside the Tekken Force mode. However, unlike the Tekken Force mode, Tekken Ball did not return in any of the canon games except Tekken 8, which is set to release on January 24 on PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X.

Tekken 8’s CBT recently became available to download on PC. The Closed Beta Test is set to begin on October 20 and will end on October 23 for all platforms. The CBT is expected to feature many new features compared to the Closed Network Test that was held in July, including new characters and game modes. You can sign up for the upcoming CBT here. However, players who had access to the CNT in July do not have to sign up again.
