Remedy has announced three difficulty levels for its survival horror Alan Wake 2. Difficulty settings include Story, Normal, and Hard, each of which comes with a unique playing style and gameplay experience. Players can choose a mode of play that suits them the best or push themselves and grind through the game with a different style of play.

Unlike most games, the settings will not only decide the level of challenge the players will face but also the way they want to approach the game. The first difficulty setting, Story, is equivalent to the conventional “Easy” game mode. As mentioned in the post, it will be more centred around the mystery aspect of Alan Wake 2 rather than challenge the players with action-filled combat.

If you want to test yourself with a bit of grind of “resource conservation” while also loving problem-solving and exploration, Normal difficulty will suit you best. Alan Wake 2′ ‘s last and most demanding difficulty level is Hard. In addition to having “significantly challenging combat“, it will require the players to be knowledgeable about leveraging itemsalong with being familiar with “game mechanics.”
