Elden Ring: How To Get The Blasphemous Claw [Location]

In today's guide, I will discuss how to obtain and use the Blasphemous Claw to ease the Maliketh boss fight.

The Elden Ring Blasphemous Claw is a tool with a single very specific purpose. Like various other tools in the game, its purpose is to help you defeat a boss that you have to take down in order further to discover the power and purpose of the Elden Ring. Also, the Blasphemous Claw is an item that can not be sold or dropped when you are killed. However, to make use of this item against the boss, you will have first to get a hold of it.

Key Takeaways
  • Elden Ring Blasphemous Claw: Eases the Maliketh Boss Fight.

Now in order to obtain the Blasphemous Claw, you will first have to progress the story of the game to a point where you have battled with the Fire Giant. This is due to the fact that after the battle, you will be teleported to the Crumbling Farum Azula.

Once you have reached the Crumbling Farum Azula.

  • You will have to head towards the grace site, which is near the great bridge, where you will have to find an invader enemy by the name of  Knight Recusant Bernahl.
  • He is also a merchant, but in this instance, you will have to battle him and defeat him.
  • Upon defeating him, he will drop the Blasphemous Claw as a reward. And now you know the Blasphemous Claw’s Location.

Well, primarily, there is only a single use of the Blasphemous Claw, and it is to ease the Maliketh Boss Fight. Before performing a parryable attack, Malikeths sword will glow yellow. And if you want to know further about a cheese method to take Maliketh down, then check out Elden Ring: How To Beat Maliketh guide.

Important: The Blasphemous Claw can not be used in PVP against the Black Blade.

My Experience

Elden Ring Blasphemous claw
My Elden Ring hours (SteamID: Future Bird)

For me, Maliketh was one of Elden Ring’s hardest bosses during my first playthrough. Unfortunately, I didn’t learn about the Blasphemous Claw until my third playthrough. But after actually using it, I must say that fighting Maliketh got a lot easier. Remember that you’ll need to practice your parry timing before you can actually use this item.

Also, don’t make my mistake; the Blasphemous Claw cannot parry every swing made by Maliketh. It can only parry the ones with a yellow glow. And with that, I bring my guide to an end. Where I thoroughly instructed you on the Blasphemous Claw Location and Uses. However, if you feel like I forgot to add something, please let me know through the comment section below.
