God Of War Ragnarok Valhalla: How To Open Locked Doors

Learn everything about God Of War Ragnarok Valhalla Locked Doors or Sanctuary Barriers that can be only opened through a special key type.

God of War Ragnarok Valhalla is full of treasures that are tucked away behind sand-floating doors. During a few early hours, there seems to be no way that open these doors, and you see these on almost every floor in Valhalla. That is why I have curated this guide and entailed how to open locked doors or open Sanctuary Barriers in God of War Ragnarok Valhalla.

Key Takeaways
  • God of War Ragnarok Valhalla has hidden treasures behind Sancturay Barrier doors.
  • Sanctuary Barrier keys are needed to unlock these barriers, available for purchase using Table of Influence.
  • You can buy these keys after beating Tyr for the first time in Valhalla; they cost 100 Spirit Seals initially and 200 Spirit Seals afterward.
  • The Table of Influence becomes accessible after the first Tyr encounter, located beside the Table of Reflection with a blue sign.
  • The keys remain in your inventory permanently, unlike Fleeting Echoes.
  • Sanctuary Barrier doors unlock valuable loot.

How To Open Sanctuary Barriers

You need Sanctuary Barrier keys to unlock the Sanctuary Barriers that usually contain a reward chest right behind the door in God of War Ragnarok Valhalla

You can basically buy these using Table of Influence but that does not appear on the beach, not unless you beat Tyr for the first time in Valhalla. You will get to fight Tyr multiple times, but the first boss encounter and its completion are required for you to be able to buy or get Sanctuary Barrier keys in Valhalla.

Once you have beaten Tyr, at least for the first time, you will be prompted back to the beach, and the Table of Influence will be available right beside the Table of Reflection. It has a blue sign at the top, much like the red Omega sign on the Table beside it; you can’t miss it!

Important: The first Sanctuary Barrier key costs 100 Spirit Seals, and after that, buying each Sanctuary Barrier Key will cost 200 Spirit Seals.

These keys can only be bought before you begin your attempt and not during the runs. There are rare instances or chances where the Sanctuary Barrier Keys may drop from bosses in Valhalla. However, the chances are very slim!

Once you hold a certain quantity of Sanctuary Barrier Keys, they remain with you in your inventory, just like Spirit Seals and Mastery Seals. They will not reset like Fleeting Echoes every time you die.

My Take On Sanctuary Barrier Keys

GOW Ragnarok Valhalla’s Sanctuary Barrier doors follow the same fashion but are unlocked after you have made a little progression! There are a lot of permanent currencies, but none open the valuable loot other than Sanctuary Barrier keys in Valhalla.

That is everything you need to know about how to open the locked doors or Sanctuary Barriers in God of War Ragnarok Valhalla. Now that you know about it, I suggest you do not skip checking GOW Ragnarok: All Valhalla Symbols & Effects and how to start Valhalla game mode guides and enrich your game knowledge.

Many players are getting GOW Ragnarok after Valhalla, and if you are one of them, then God Of War Ragnarok: Best Skills, Best Build, best Runic Attacks, and Best Armor Sets guides are good start to read and grasp some tips about the game.
