Lethal Company: What Does Eclipse Mean? + Landing Guide

Learn what role the eclipse plays in Lethal Company and whether you should explore an eclipsed moon or not.

Lethal Company is a survival horror game in which, most of the time, you are exploring different moons to find some valuable scrap that you can sell later. Weather on these moons is an essential aspect of Lethal Company. For instance, if thunderstorms happen and you touch anything made of metal, you will instantly die; however, Lethal Company Eclipse is one of the weathers you will want to avoid if possible.

Key Takeaways
  • Eclipse is one of the weather conditions in Lethal Company.
  • In normal weather conditions, enemies normally do not spawn before 6 pm.
  • However, if you are landing on an eclipsed moon, you will find numerous enemies waiting for you, which were previously not there before 6 pm.
  • Furthermore, eclipsed moons have more high-value scraps and more scrap in general, making it a high-risk and high-reward situation.

Normally, enemies do not spawn before 6 pm, but if you are landing on an eclipsed moon, you will find numerous enemies waiting for you, which usually aren’t there before.

For most players, landing on a moon with eclipse conditions is a straight-up death sentence. Once I got there with my friends, it was complete darkness, and I could barely see where I was going. Monsters had already spawned and were waiting to pounce on me.

Therefore, it is recommended that before you land, you are well-equipped and have items such as flashlights, zap guns, and walkie-talkies with you. One more thing to know is that the loot and scrap available at these eclipsed moons are good. Thus, you can say it is a high-risk, high-reward situation.

Should You Land On The Eclipsed Moons

If you are well equipped and have great coordination with your teammates, going to these eclipsed moons can be quite beneficial for you, but it still is super difficult.

At times, the game lets you choose between going to a storm or an eclipsed moon. I would say choose the storm every time.

And with that, my guide on Lethal Company Eclipse comes to an end. Here, you were informed about the purpose and meaning of an eclipsed moon in Lethal Company. Other than that, if you have something to add, you can do so through the comment section below.
