Jolthog can be quite a beneficial pal for you since it causes an electrical explosion that can damage multiple enemies in a set area. However, before you can use the Jolt bomb you will need to unlock the creature partner gear and Jolthog’s gloves from the pal partner gear workbench. Also, it is worth noting that the Jolthog only drops a single item upon defeat which is an electric organ.

You will need the following items to craft Jolthog’s gloves:

• Technology points.
• Five Cloth: These can be made from wool.
• Five Electrical Organs: You get them once you defeat an electric-type pal.
• Five Palladium Fragments: These can be found in rocks scattered all across the map.

Where To Find Jolthog 

Looking for Jolthog may take some time since it is quite rare.

Firstly you can try your luck by hatching electric eggs but this method will most probably waste your time. You are better off searching for Jolthog in the wild. Jolthog is mostly found west and northwest of the small settlement, it has a very low spawn rate so keep searching the area and you will come across one soon enough!

While playing the game I noticed that Jolthog has three various tricks up his sleeve these are:

• Electric Ball: A slow-moving electric ball that follows the enemy.
• Power Shot: A huge blast of charged energy.
• Shockwave: Damages all the enemies in a set radius.

However, one disadvantage of having Jolthog on your team is that he has only one work suitability, generating electricity and it is only level 1. Various other pals have the same work suitability and have higher levels.
