My Experience Solving The Grandfather Clock Puzzle

In my experience with completing several playthroughs of RE4 Remake, I’ve noticed the Grandfather Clock solves at different time selections. During my Hardcore and Professional difficulty runs, the Grandfather Clock was 7 o’clock instead of the usual 11:04. Fortunately, this time remained the same for all my subsequent playthroughs, so I didn’t have to collect any additional clues when solving it.

Unlike other in-game puzzles, you don’t need to backtrack or run around for tedious prerequisites, and the overall experience of solving the Grandfather Clock was often a smooth one. However, on my Assisted difficulty run, I did experience the puzzle glitch once because it didn’t solve after I moved the clock’s hands to 11:04. But when I moved the shorter hand around and adjusted it back to 11, it let me go through.
