What Are Passes In Street Fighter 6?
If you’re an active player of modern titles, then you are probably more than familiar with certain in-game progress systems that give you rewards. In Street Fighter, a DLC was announced as a play pass. There are two versions of it, the Character Pass, the free one, and the Ultimate Pass, the paid version.
In both Passes, you can obtain many different fighters, cosmetics, and other in-game items depending on how much time and money you spend on the game. The content we will cover in our Street Fighter 6 Year 1 Characters guide will only cater to what developers have confirmed at publication.
Character Pass
The Street Fighter 6 Year 1 Characters Pass is the free version of the first season DLC. It will feature many different characters and cosmetics you can obtain just by playing the game. You will also earn 4200 Drive Tickets throughout this pass, which will help you buy additional in-game items.
Character Pass Fighters
The Character Pass will have four fighters that you can potentially add to your roster. These characters are listed as follows:
- Rashi (Street Fighter 5)
- AKI (New)
- Ed (Street Fighter 5)
- Akuma (Street Fighter 2)
According to her release notes, AKI is a new character who hails from China. However, Rashi, ED, and Akuma are all familiar faces from older titles. You can access all of these fighters if you play enough SF6 during the season 1 pass.
Cosmetics
In addition to mentioned fighters, you will also obtain four additional characters’ colors. For Outfit 1, of the fighters mentioned above, you will get colors 3-10. Remember that you can also use the Drive Tickets you get for costumes and outfit colors.
Ultimate Pass
The Ultimate Pass is the paid Pass and will feature the mentioned Street Fighter 6 season 1 character, cosmetics, and much more. Like most paid passes include the free items, the Ultimate Pass will also feature all the content we discussed above in the Street Fighter 6 Year 1 character pass.
Regarding the fighters, you will be getting the same four ones we discussed above. However, instead of 4200 Drive Tickets, you will get a hefty amount of 7700 Drive Tickets. You will also have two more stages added to your game for you to enjoy.
Ultimate Pass Costumes
Unlike the Character Pass, the Ultimate Pass has much more to offer regarding in-game cosmetics. You will get the following costumes and colors for the four fighters you will get in this pass.
- Outfit 1 with colors 3-10.
- Outfit 2 with colors 1-10.
- Outfit 3 with colors 1-10.
As I mentioned in the free pass, you can spend the plethora of Drive Tickets you will earn in the pass to get even more cosmetics from the in-game store.
