In Warzone 2, having a powerful short-range weapon in your loadout is insufficient; you also need a long-range weapon. In the game, you can also carry an Assault Rifle or a Sniper Rifle in addition to the SMG, which is where overkill gets the upper hand.

Strong Arm

The Strong Arm, which enables you to throw any equipment farther, is the second base perk. Additionally, you can also see the path that the object you are about to throw will take. The strong arm perk will ensure that you successfully toss whatever object you need to through the window when you need to in a certain situation.

Spotter

The Spotter perk in Warzone 2 is underrated but powerful. It lets you hack enemy equipment, turn it against them, and reveal enemy equipment, kill streaks, and field upgrades through walls. You can ping these for your teammates and disarm mines and bombs, making it a versatile choice for tactical advantage.

Survivor

Finally, for the ultimate perk, I recommend Survivor, who has two fundamental advantages. First, if an enemy knocks you down, he will be automatically pinged, and his location will be revealed. Your teammates will easily be able to identify and eliminate the enemy. In addition, your teammates will be able to revive you more quickly, allowing you to fight back and take revenge.

Specter Package

The Specter Package’s perk package is listed below.

• Base Perk 1: Double Time
• Base Perk 2: Tracker
• Bonus Perk: Spotter
• Ultimate Perk: Ghost

Double Time

The first base perk offered in the Specter package is Double Time. Double Time is essential for longer tactical running because it doubles your speed as you move towards or away from enemies. This benefit can be a lifesaver while going on lengthy kill sprees. In WZ 2.0, Double Time will double the duration of your Tactical Sprint and improve your crouch speed by thirty percent. 

Tracker

The second base perk offered in the Specter Package is Tracker. In a lot of ways, the Tracker Perk is self-explanatory. Well, all it does is track the enemies. For a brief period, the tracker displays the enemies’ footsteps, and you can quickly determine where they are in comparison to you. It prints the enemy’s movement patterns for eight seconds on the ground or any other surface that they are on.

Spotter

The best bonus perk you can use in Warzone 2 is probably Spotter. By hacking it, it uses the enemy’s tactical equipment against them. The rest of the spotter perk is already explained in the Weapon Specialist package.

Ghost

Finally, the ultimate perk of the Specter package is Ghost. This makes players undetectable to UAVs, portable radars, and heartbeat sensors. It reduces the chance that players will be seen and gives enemies an element of surprise by holding the hallways.

Vanguard Package

The Vanguard Package perk setup is shown below.

• Base Perk 2: Bomb Squad
• Bonus Perk: Resupply
• Ultimate Perk: High Alert

Double Time

Double Time is the first base perk included in the Vanguard Package. Since Double Time doubles your speed when you travel toward or away from enemies, it is crucial for longer tactical running. The rest of this perk is already explained above in the Specter Package.

Bomb Squad

Bomb Squad is the second base perk in the Vanguard Package. You have fully protected from various explosives thanks to Bomb Squad. Essentially, it lessens the damage your enemies’ explosives cause to you. Additionally, it causes any enemies’ live grenades you pick up to have their fuse reset, enabling you to throw them back at your opponent to give them a taste of their own medicine.

Resupply

The bonus perk being offered in the Vanguard package is Resupply. Resupply essentially provides you with an extra deadly grenade at the start of the game. Additionally, it starts a 30-second timer that regenerates continuously so you can recover your lethal and tactical equipment, a crucial skill in any Battle Royale scenario. You can secure buildings with additional lethal equipment through resupply, which recharges over time.

High Alert

Last but not least, the Vanguard Perk Package includes a High Alert for the Ultimate Perk slot. Your vision will pulse while you are on High Alert, effectively alerting you whenever an enemy detects you. This is especially helpful when the enemy can see you, but you can’t see them.

Scout Package

Following is the perk setup for the Scout Package.

• Base Perk 2: Strong Arm
• Bonus Perk: Focus
• Ultimate Perk: Ghost

Scavenger

Scavenger is the first base perk featured in the Scout Package. Through Scavenger, there would be a resupply of ammo which will come into action when you are firing enemies from a long distance. Additionally, each time a neighboring player dies, it will offer an additional plate.

Strong Arm

The Strong Arm, which enables you to throw any equipment farther, is the second base perk in Scout Package. This perk has been extensively explained above in the Weapon Specialist package.

Focus

The Bonus perk included in the Scout package is Focus which mainly focuses on reducing flinch when aiming down-sights and also increases the Hold Breath duration. Focus perk, as its name implies, lessens flinching when aiming down sights and promotes more steady and focused aiming. 

Ghost

Ghost is the Scout package’s ultimate perk. Due to this, players are undetectable to heartbeat sensors, portable radars, and UAVs. Ghost is already explained above in the Specter package so I won’t be explaining it again.

Warden Package

The Warden Package was created with a few considerations in mind. You will have good mobility and weapon handling thanks to its composition.

• Ultimate Perk: Overclock

Double Time is the first base perk provided in the Warden package. Since Double Time doubles your speed when you travel toward or away from enemies, it is important for longer tactical running. The Specter package has previously gone into great detail on this perk, so I won’t be explaining it here.

Strong Arm

The second base perk in the Warden Package is the Strong Arm, which gives you the ability to throw any item farther. The Weapon Specialist package has already gone into great detail about this feature.

Fast Hands

Fast Hands is the bonus perk featured in the Warden Package. You can use equipment, reload, and swap out weapons more quickly, thanks to the Fast Hands perk. If you are using a large round magazine, it will make it quicker to reload. Additionally, you will switch to your secondary weapon considerably more quickly than usual.

Overclock

For the ultimate perk, I choose  Overclock in the Warden Package. It explains how field charges are rechargeable, and on top of that, you can also store an additional charge, and the charge rate is decreased by 20 percent.

Sentinel Package

Perk setup for the Sentinel Package is as follows.

• Base Perk 1: Battle Hardened
• Base Perk 2: Bomb Squad
• Bonus Perk: Cold-Blooded
• Ultimate Perk: Overclock

Battle Hardened

The first base perk in the Sentinel package is Battle Hardened. It basically reduces the effect of Flash, Stun, EMP, Gas grenades, and shock sticks thrown by the enemies at you and makes you immune to Snapshot grenades. Even if an enemy uses a stun or an EMP on you, it won’t have much of an impact, and you can still defend yourself.

Bomb Squad

Bomb Squad is the second base perk in the Sentinel Package. You are fully protected from various explosives, thanks to Bomb Squad. The rest of this perk is already explained above in the Vanguard package.

Cold-Blooded

Cold-Blooded is the bonus perk being offered in the Sentinel Package. Using this perk, you can become undetectable to AI targeting systems and thermal optics. While this perk is equipped, a High Alert warning won’t be triggered as well, and you won’t get caught in Tactical cameras, Recon drones, and Spotter scopes. Players in Warzone 2 are once again using thermal optics on their weapons, just like in the original Warzone. 

Overclock

Overclock is the ultimate perk included in the Warden Package. It states that since field charges are now rechargeable, you can also store an extra charge on top of that, and the charge rate has also been reduced by 20%. The Warden Package already has an explanation of the remaining details of this perk.

Best Perk Package – My Take

The selection of a perk package depends on your playstyle and may vary from time to time. When I feel like being aggressive, I use the Weapon Specialist perk. On the other hand, when I am playing passive, I use packages such as Scavenger or Vanguard. Since everyone has different interests, I constantly advise customizing things to suit your individual preferences.

In addition, the game offers options for creating a custom loadout, allowing you to adjust each attachment to your preferences.
