Diablo 4: Whispering Pines Dungeon [Location & Rewards]

Whispering Pines is a dungeon in Diablo 4; as with any dungeon, there are a lot of enemies. Furthermore, this dungeon features Wildwoods, Shamans, Swarms, and other types of demons. Also, due to the involvement of Shamans, the dungeon becomes annoying as they are able to respect the fallen enemies. But at least the rewards are worth it since you get an aspect in addition to rare gear.

What Is The Whispering Pines Dungeon In Diablo 4

Once you enter the Whispering Pines dungeon, the first area will be full of demons of different types, including Shamans. Wildwoods, and Swarms. Also, you should expect to encounter multiple groups of elite monsters as the first objective for you is to take out the gatekeepers of the area, which will definitely be guarded by multiple elites.

In short, you will have to be fully prepared in order to take on the dungeon, as in the second area of the dungeon, you will be required to take on multiple demons. Your goal will be to defeat all of the demons in the area, and by keeping an eye on the map, you will be able to locate your enemies. 

And once all of the enemies have been taken care of in the second area, the boss fight area will be unlocked. Now, you are required to take out the boss in order to complete the dungeon.

Location

Now, Whispering Pines is located in the area of Highland, which is a subregion of Scosglen. Furthermore, the dungeon is situated on the right side of the Highland area, as you can tell by the image above.

Boss Battle (Spiritcaller Of Squalls)

Spiritcaller Of Squalls is the boss that you will have to defeat in Whispering Pines. Basically, this boss is a larger ghoulish shaman that wields lightning and can resurrect dead monsters. The boss wields a large staff that will direct its attacks at you, and naturally, during the fight, there will also be waves of minions that will be resurrected once taken down.

To take out the boss more effectively, the crucial part is to keep an eye on the minions and totems. The projectiles the Spiritcaller Of Squalls launches at you should not be deflected toward the totems, as they will produce even more projectiles. 

Secondly, you should take care of the minions as soon as possible, after which you will be able to focus your attention on the boss. Keep these things in mind, and you should be able to take out the boss. After which you can collect the rewards.

Rewards

Now, the rewards for completing the Whispering Pines dungeon are as the following:

• Gold
• 1 Rare Gear Item OR 1 Magic Gear Item
• Ballistic Aspect 

The Ballistic Aspect is a legendary aspect for the Druid class as a utility aspect. Its effect is as the following “When you have to Fortify your Earth Skills gain +2 Ranks.
