Many gamers regard this feature as a flop, while Microsoft says that Full-Screen Optimization provides better performance. This was the most crucial and Import part of Optimizing the Warzone Applications. The difference in performance is huge, and I’ll recommend comparing FPS with and without full-screen optimization.

Enable Game Mode

There is one feature from Microsoft that does work tremendously for gaming. The feature Game Mode permits your game to take full advantage of your Hardware, by closing all the unnecessary applications automatically. Other this it stops Windows From Automatically updating, disables notifications, and priorities Graphics Card and Processor to provide the best possible performance. The Game mode has other features too, but these are the most important ones. When playing Warzone. you always have to ensure it is enabled.

  1. Open Start > Type Game Mode.
  2. Once Opened, Simply Enable it, and you are all set.

Disable Useless Applications, Services, and Notifications To Reduce CPU Load

This method is all about disabling the unnecessary stuff, so while playing games we don’t want any external application to burden our hardware. Althoug we enabled Game Mode and no no notifications should occur while we play Warzone. But users have complained despite the feature being enabled, that there are still notifications piling up in the background causing inconsistency in performance.

There is no secret to these notifications and they are very straight forward. Here is how you can disable them.

Disable Xbox Notifications

  1. Open Search > Game Mode Settings.
  2. Disable Everything In-Game Bar and Captures Tab. These are the recording, screenshot, and many other notifications that cause a huge disturbance in performance.

Disable Unnecessary Services

  1. Go To Start > Search and Open Run > Now, type MSConfig and click ok.

Set High Graphics Priority For Warzone

Through Windows 10 Graphics Settings feature you can change the GPU Priority for a certain game. This feature is really beneficial, and can completely transform your Warzone Performance. What we will do is that we’ll add Warzone In the Graphics Settings, changes its priority from Normal To High, and save changes. Once done, your Graphics Card will always operate at full speeds crossing all limits. As a result, you will get more FPS and a tremendous performance increase while playing Warzone.

  1. Open Start > Search Graphics Settings.
  2. Now click on Browse > Locate and add Call of Duty Warzone > Set Its Graphics Preference To High Performance.

The Game is often located in Disk C > Program Files (x86) > Call of Modern Warfare > Warzone

Disable Enhance Pointer Precision

Enhance Pointer Precision works similar to Hardware Acceleration but this feature does more harm than you think. When Enhance Pointer Precision is enabled, your mouse is consistently changing its Speed and DPI. As a result of this, it is always taking squeezing a chunk of power from your CPU and Memory to perform this action. Now other than its negative impact on performance, what’s the harm thing about?

Well if you are a competitive gamer who likes to play FPS Games. The Enhance Pointer Precision has completely screwed your gameplay because you can never adjust the mouse speeds in your muscle memory. What I mean is that every time you play the sensitivity isn’t exactly the same, and it keeps changing. This causes huge inconsistency in gameplay, and the sad thing is that this feature is unnoticeable. Anyhow, here is how you can disable it

  1. Open Start > Search Mouse Settings.
  2. Click on Additional Mouse Options.
  3. Proceed to Pointer Options Tab, and Disable Enhance Pointer Precision. Don’t forget to hit apply and ok.

If you are using the Nvidia Graphics card, well then you are lucky because we have a bonus method for you. This method is only for Nvidia users, but if AMD users can somehow replicate the same settings in Radeon settings, then I’m sure it’ll work for them.

Like always before you jump in the settings, make sure that your Nvidia Drivers are Updated to the latest version. You can update to the latest drivers through GeForce Experience or by downloading them manually from here. Once done, you should open Nvidia Control and follow the steps below

  1. Proceed to Adjust Image Settings with Preview Tab, and Drag the slider at the end of Performance.Best Nvidia Settings For Warzone
  2. This will completely change the Graphics and Performance Meta. From now on, the PC will focus on giving 100% Performance, and likewise, it’ll compromise on Quality. The good thing is that the graphics will be sharper than ever. In addition, we’ll further enhance it through some color tweaks to cover this part up.
  3. Go to Adjust Desktop Color Settings and do the following.Best Nvidia Settings For Warzone
  4. Brightness + 50 (personnel preference)

In this guide, however, we are focusing on high fps and performance, so the settings will be according to that. Just to clarify, along these all steps, we aren’t really downgrading visuals quality. They are still decent, and you will certainly know them once you apply these settings.

But, they will also help you get better at the game by allowing you to spot enemies quickly. Lastly, if you are getting higher FPS or if you have a better graphics card. You can tweak some settings like Tesselation, Texture Resolution, and Render Resolution Up. Do this in a step by step process so you will know which setting is having a larger impact.
