Story Highlights

  • The pre-orders for the upcoming entry could go live soon, as per the leaker. However, no release date is currently yet known.
  • The leak aligns with the recent quarterly earnings report, which included Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora’s release in the 2023-2024 line-up.
  • Ubisoft has not officially revealed any details regarding the pre-orders yet. We suggest taking the latest rumors with a grain of salt.

After spending more than half a decade in the brewer, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora pre-orders are finally rumored to go live. The Ubisoft dataminer “@ScriptLeaksR6” has seemingly leaked an image showcasing pre-order bonuses hidden in the back end of the Ubisoft servers, hinting that it will soon officially unveil official pre-order details. Moreover, a release date for the open-world entry is also expected to be closer than we all anticipated.

Pre-ordering Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will bring users its own set of exclusive in-game bonuses; a package dubbed “The Child Of Two Worlds Pack” has been confirmed so far. It includes one character cosmetic set and a weapon skin. No other details, like the date for the pre-orders, have been featured in the leak. However, the leaker suggests that the exclusive bonuses might soon be available for the excited community.

Ubisoft’s quarterly earnings report revealed last month did confirm Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora as one of the games slated for the fiscal year 2023-2024 release, which only solidifies the aforesaid datamined leak.

Fueling our expectations for strong revenue growth, next fiscal year will see the release of a meaningful line-up, including new titles within the Assassin’s Creed, Avatar, Rainbow Six, and The Division universes.”

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora slated for the 2023-2024 lineup, as confirmed by the latest financial report.

Despite its development period of six years, not a lot of specifics have been disclosed about the game. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is a first-person action-adventure venture brewed right in the latest rendition of the Snowdrop engine. It is brimming with life, featuring many creatures never seen in any of the movies in the past. The footage and images unveiled by the developers so far have been a massive eye candy, to say the least.

It is in development by Ubisoft’s Massive Entertainment, which has partnered with Lightstorm Entertainment and Disney. We know that the alluring rendition takes us through an unseen region of the world, the Western Frontier, as per the official description.

In this new, standalone story, play as a Na’vi and embark on a journey across the Western Frontier, a never-before-seen part of Pandora. Explore a living and reactive world inhabited by unique creatures and new characters, and push back the formidable RDA forces that threaten it.”

We can expect to hear an official announcement in the coming weeks, but it is best to take the current leak with a grain of salt in the meantime. Furthermore, Ubisoft could internally delay the game again due to the recent internal cancellations of many projects that have haunted the giant conglomerate. The fans have also shown concern because not a lot of actual gameplay footage has been unveiled showcasing the AAA project.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is slated for a release sometime between April 2023 and March 2024 for a variety of platforms. The community will be able to experience the chronicles of a Na’vi on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S, Series X, PC, and Amazon Luna. Unfortunately, no last-gen support has been confirmed for the title.
