Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 5 Leaked Promotional Image Showcases New Theme & Weapon

In for a fascinating surprise...

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War was released in November 2020. Since then, it has become the talk of the town! While met with some criticism from the Call of Duty community, Activision reported more than 5.7 million copies in only the first six weeks of release. Season 5 of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is underway and expected to release sometime this month. However, a promotional image for Season 5 of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War was leaked today and players are in for an unexpected surprise.

According to a leak posted by Redditor  u/Nanikos on Imgur, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 5 will be Japanese-themed. The person in question has previously leaked accurate information about Call of Duty: Zombies and has now posted a promotional image for Season 5 of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

Based on the broadcasted promotional image, it seems like Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 5 will have a Japanese theme and a new weapon, TEC-9 (from what it looks like), will also be featured in the game. According to u/Nanikos, the Operator featured in the leaked promotional image will be named Kitsune and two other Operators, Kingsley and Surge (could be codenames, too), will also be featured. Additionally, we may also see a new region, called Weather Station, for Outbreak — that also contains Summit.

This information comes directly from a reliable source on Reddit, so it’s almost certain to be correct. Season 5 of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is expected to release by 9th August or, as Treyarch tends to wait until Thursday for updates, 12th August at most. All we can do now is wait for the new season to arrive and jump straight into the action!
