Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Pre Orders For PS4/Switch Now Live

Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster will be coming to the consoles in Spring 2023.

Square Enix has officially announced the full Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster collection (FF1, FF2, FF3, FF4, FF5, FF6) for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch You can preorder a standard or collector’s edition (35th Anniversary Edition) physical copy of the complete collection right now.

This collection includes all six games and is exclusively available at the Square Enix store. The physical edition is only available in “limited” numbers.

The first six titles in the series, Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster, were first made available on PC and mobile platforms in 2021. Each of the games features modernized graphics, improved gameplay, and greater cohesion across the six games.

The collection will be live on new platforms sometime in Spring 2023, although no final date has been revealed as of now.

Final Fantasy I-VI Collection is only available for preorder at the Square Enix Store and costs $74.99 for the standard Switch or PS4 physical version, which again includes FF1, FF2, FF3, FF4, FF5, and FF6. After tax and shipping, the price actually comes out to closer to $100 overall. To get your hands on a standard Switch copy or a PS4 copy, you should buy it as soon as you can.

In the meanwhile, the 35th Anniversary collector’s edition of Final Fantasy I-VI Collection for Switch and PS4 is exclusively available for presale at the Square Enix Store for $259.99, which comes out to about $300 after tax and delivery. The following extras are included:

Square Enix launches the pre-orders on their website, saying,

December 18 is the 35th Anniversary of Final Fantasy, and we have some exciting news to celebrate: the acclaimed Final Fantasy pixel remaster series is coming to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, Final Fantasy I – VI will launch digitally for these platforms in Spring 2023. The games can be purchased individually or together as a bundle.”

This has to be the perfect timing for the games to be released as today commemorates the 35th anniversary of the franchise’s initial release in Japan.

The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) rated the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster bundle earlier this week for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch consoles, followed by today’s official announcement

The final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series has only been available for PC via Steam and mobile devices. Console users will find it much more thrilling now that it has been formally revealed for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.

In addition to everything mentioned above, one of Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster’s main pulls is the opera scene from Final Fantasy 6. The famous scene has been recreated in HD-2D fashion, much as in Octopath Traveler.

  The singing itself is now fully voiced and has been translated into seven languages, including Japanese, English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Korean.
